Terri-Lynn's is a Little Rock fixture. For years when it was at its former location on Cantrell Road, it was one of my family's go-to places for barbecue sandwiches — lovingly smoked pork chopped fine and served with barbecue sauce and cole slaw on buns. We still stop there, at its new location on Rodney Parham, for barbecue (see the photo below). As you can see, the chopped pork sandwiches are over-stuffed with meat, and with the barbecue sauce and cole slaw added, they're best eaten with a fork, since they quickly fall apart when you try to eat them as hand-held sandwiches. Their other sandwiches are also first-rate. Their foot-long hot dogs with everything on them are an understandable draw. Pictured below is The Coach, smoked turkey and Swiss cheese with cole slaw and tomato on caraway rye bread. They smoke their meats on site, pork, turkey, brisket. I can't tell you about the brisket, because I'm an old-school Arkansan for whom barbecue is pork and not beef, and I shy away from (and rather resent) the nouveau barbecue places springing up all over the place that push Texas barbecue (i.e., brisket) as if it's the only show in town, and that also offer hyper-sweet sauces that turn a barbecue sandwich into a dessert. Decor is down-home Arkansas barbecue shack. The seating area is not extensive, but there's good seating outside when the weather conduces to al fresco "dining." They're strictly a lunch place open a few hours before noon and then into the afternoon. A plus of eating at Terri-Lynn's: for those of us who can't do without the house wine of the South, they brew a mean iced tea that's not too sweet, and offer slices of lemon to go with it — and they have one of those old-fashioned crushed ice machines that fills your glass with finely crushed ice.

Don't know if they have good bbq but the ham they served was delicious. If it was supposed to be smoked I couldn't taste it. All the sides were also good. Beans, macaroni salad and cole slaw were fresh and tasted like it was just made. Employees were nice and enjoyed talking to them. Would go back if I wanted to eat at a deli. Bbq maybe not.

This place was packed to the brim with hungry patrons. The food was served in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly. I am very pleased with this establishment. The sandwich was to die for.

I came here for lunch and tried the Reuben sandwich.. It came out looking amazing, as I pulled the sandwich away from my mouth after the first bite, cheese stringed out between my mouth and the sandwich (which is something I love, it's so hard to get cheese to melt at the right consistency). I went around 11:30am and the crowd generally was older generation men and a few women, and pick up orders from executives. I have already recommended this restaurant to several people as I am impressed with the food and service. The only part that is a little confusing is that there is no clear sign of whether to leave your plate on the table or to throw it away and stack your tray on the counter (I have always stacked my tray on the counter and an employee takes it pretty fast from...

We placed a group order Friday during lunch rush. I went to pick up the order, got back to the office and realized a few small items were not in the bag. No big deal, they were slammed when I called and slammed when I picked up the order. I go back to pick up the missing food, the manager recognized me from being there just a few moments earlier and asked what they forgot. I told him, he apologized, I said no big deal, it’s ok. He not only promptly put the missing items in a bag for but offered free pie. The Sharon sandwich is incredible and I was already going to order again but the service and manner in which they made things right is what left the best impression on me. 5 stars TL BBQ, we will order again...
