From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with the warmth and hospitality that felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, setting the perfect stage for a memorable dining experience.
The menu, a vibrant celebration of Latin cuisine, offered an array of dishes that promised an adventure for the palate. We started with a selection of appetizers that were not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavors that were both authentic and innovative. The ceviche was a particular standout, with its perfect balance of acidity and freshness, a true testament to the chef's mastery.
For our main courses, we indulged in a variety of dishes, each one a revelation. The slow-cooked meats were tender and richly seasoned, while the seafood was impeccably fresh, accompanied by sides that complemented each main dish perfectly. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of each dish was evident, making every bite a delight.
What truly set our experience apart, however, was the service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our evening was special. Their recommendations were spot-on, reflecting a deep understanding of the menu and a genuine desire to enhance our dining experience. Their attentiveness and professionalism were unparalleled, yet they maintained a friendly and relaxed demeanor that made us feel truly at home. Pillar went above and beyond to accommodate us!
To conclude our meal, we were tempted by a selection of desserts that proved to be the perfect finale to an exquisite culinary journey. The churros were sublime, a creamy, dreamy delight that left us savoring every bite.
In a city brimming with dining options, this Latin restaurant shines brightly as a beacon of culinary excellence and hospitality. It's not just a meal; it's an experience—one that we will undoubtedly return to and recommend to others without hesitation. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable evening. Five stars simply don’t do justice to the amazing service and food we had the pleasure...
Read moreI want to start this off by asking What in the F happened to Oregano's?!?* ugh -This place shouldn't be called Mesa, it should be Messa' something awful. I'm writing this after giving this place a 2nd chance. My wife and I originally went during their first opening week and we sat at a table for 15 minutes before someone finally came to take a drink order. It was then another 15 minutes to get those drinks. We STILL hadn't been offered to order appetizers or anything. Short of this trip was that an hour and 1/2 later and the manager came over to tell us they would comp our meal, once it arrived. Flash forward to last evening around 6 PM. The place was a ghost town which should have been a strong clue; other than the roofers that were BANGING on the roof, throwing material everywhere, and even a silver ring around a fire suppression sprinkler fell from the ceiling. Drinks came out fast, and same with the appetizers, but they were OK - then the meal. In between trying to talk over the roofers (they don't open until 11, wouldn't it have made sense to have those guys start EARLY and leave at dinner time??!!), we noticed that it seemed like a good bit of the staff there at the time were new, as two of them were training (the place JUST opened a few months ago, again, bad sign). Then as we were eating a fairly bland meal, my wife, a red head, found a blonde hair in her risotto. The manager came over and said they would comp her meal and offered something else, which she declined. I also lost my appetite so we decided to wrap things up. The server came over and gave us a "$10 off" ticket for our next meal and said that the manager would be doing the same before we left. The manager never said another word to us, even though there were literally only 4 other patrons in the building. Such a PRIME and beautiful location - I sure hope someone who knows how to run a restaurant gets to move in and replace this mess! It hasn't even been a year, but these guys need to shut down so someone new can come in...
Read moreI wanted to like this place, but it let me down so quickly. My husband and I are Latinos from the Caribbean and South America, Puerto Rico and Peru specifically. We don’t see a lot of Latin American representation or diversity in Littleton so we were so excited to have a new Latin restaurant nearby to enjoy and fully support. Let’s start with the menu…a bit all over the place in terms of cuisine but it seems to lean more towards Mexican food than any other country. Not a bad thing, just something to know. One of the biggest turn offs was the fact that it’s supposed to be a Latin restaurant representing our beautifully diverse countries, cuisines, and people, and yet they can’t spell “Peruvian” or “Churrasco” correctly? At the very least spellcheck could have been used to avoid such an embarrassing mistake on the menus. If you’re going to truly and respectfully represent Latin America, don’t butcher our language. This may mean nothing to the majority of diners who are not Latinos but it means a lot to those of us who are and are a community with little representation in this area. As for the food, I wanted to give the kitchen a chance but was disappointed when my husband ordered the ”ChuRasco” and in it lacked flavor. The nopales served alongside it were very oily. I ordered the “PURUVIAN Chicken” and it was brought out to me when it was still raw. It was bloody and pink, so bad that our sweet waitress let out a gasp when she saw it. Which brings me to my next point, the staff and customer service beyond the issues mentioned above, were wonderful. They were kind and welcoming and very attentive. I want to support this business but I’m not sure we will be back. I believe in accountability and giving second chances so we will see....
