My fiancé and I came here for a much needed date. We arrived at 8:15pm, we checked in at the ho where there were 3 girls (host) standing, looking at their phones, chatting with each other, and digging through a gift bag full of candy. I had to “interrupt” their conversations and ask to be added to the waitlist. 1 of the girls looked at me, let out a sigh and just said “name”. I was so taken back by the disrespect I had to walk away and let my fiancé handle it from there. Thankfully the wait wasn’t long and we were seated by 8:30pm. Our waitress, Amanda, did not come by our table to take our drink order until a little after 8:50pm. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer, she brought our drinks and then advised us the appetizer we chose is no longer available for the night. We then ordered another appetizer just to be told the same. After we tried for a THIRD appetizer, finally one we got to our table. We promptly ordered our food. I ordered a 12oz New York Strip (medium well) with a Cesar salad and loaded baked potato, my fiancé ordered a 8oz sirloin (medium) with French onion soup and loaded mashed potatoes. Our waitress told us she would be bringing our salad/soup right out, at 9:45pm we got our salad/soup. At 9:50pm we got our dinner. My steak was medium rare and my fiancé’s steak was well done. I sent my steak back to be cooked more (my fiancé decided just to eat his overcooked steak). After waiting 20 minutes for my steak to be cooked a little more, IT WAS STILL MEDIUM RARE. I asked for a box, cause at this point we had been at our table for over an hour and a half, and I just wanted to go home so I could cook my steak myself. We paid for our meal with a gift card, when our waitress brought out check back she advised us of the $40 that was left on the gift card, but she forgot to give us the gift card back. It took her about 10 minutes to come back and guess what, SHE LOST THE GIFT CARD. She ended up issuing another gift card but ONLY GAVE US A $30 GIFT CARD. Other patrons she was serving weee having the same issues with their food, timeliness, and one table didn’t get their credit card back. I wanted to speak to the manager, but he was busy tending to the other 4 tables who were having the same complaints. In the end, we were at the restaurant for almost 2 1/2 hours, it was a very slow evening, and nothing was done correctly. I say if your wanting steak, Texas Roadhouse or Outback are the...
Read moreSuper disappointing. Not sure if it is because I was dining alone but I was in and out in less than 35 mins. I got my glass of wine, which the glass still had lip marks on it and water stains all over. Once my salad came, but after someone tried to leave two salads on the table and said enjoyed and tried to leave without making eye contact, I said they were not mine and then she made eye contact and said oh these aren’t yours? Took them away. I got those salads just seconds after i placed my order. When I did get my salad it was tasty and flavorful but the only flavorful thing I had at this restaurant. Seconds later after just a few bites of my salad my entree came. I was still trying to enjoy my salad (which the entree should have followed at least 10-15 mins later). Worried my food was going to get cold before I could enjoy it….2-4 mins after my salad came I decided to try my entree which was a 6 oz filet with a Parmesan crust medium rare and a 4 oz lobster tail. The lobster was cold and so was the steak which was overly buttered with some parm crust, Which lacked flavor…I don’t know about you but parm usually has a ton of flavor. My steak was caked in thick butter that was not melted with sprinkles of parm crust that I scraped off to at least try to taste the flavor of the meat. The meat had zero flavor. Nothing juicy about this steak like a medium rare filet should taste, which by the way was cooked to medium rare status that I always get or cook at home. Which as we all Know medium rare is a red WARM center which was cold by the time I ate it (which I tried only a few minutes after tried the steak). The longest wait time I had was waiting for my check. Which took about 10 mins to get. The wait person never checked on me to see how I enjoyed my meal until she asked if I left room For dessert. I said no things were ok. And she left the table and brought my check 10 mins later. Overall experience was lack luster for the price you pay. Super disappointed and not sure if they decided to hurry up and serve me as fast as they could to to get a bigger ticket at the table than just a single diner. I am a single mom of three and all I wanted to do was enjoy some alone time and a much needed break for myself and what I got was thirty minutes of a disappointing experience. The only thing that actually had any flavor was the strawberry feta salad, everything else was bland in flavor and awfully...
Read moreI figured I'd take the time to warn others about the energy vampire working here named John M. We went in for lunch on a moderately busy day, only about 25% of the booths were full. It took close to 10 minutes before we were greeted by anyone. Then we waited another 10 to 15 minutes before being greeted by our server John. At that point the service was decent, although the host / busser had to help out at times. Our server didn't check how the food was, he only came back after I had already sent back my steak salad for being undercooked. He was very charming and seemed like a good enough server. Except he drained my energy by making us wait around for him forever at the beginning and end of our visit. When he brought the check I gave him a $25 gift card and $25 in cash for $39.95 check and said "run the gift card first then use the cash for the rest". We then waited around 20 or more minutes waiting for him to bring my change. I finally had to grab him and ask for my change. He had just assumed that I was leaving him a $10 tip on my $40 check (25%) and he never came back. He never said "thanks for coming in, have a great day" etc. He just took my money and ran. The service was so bad at the beginning and end that I left this place with my patience and energy completely drained. I realized that this was a sign that our server John M is an energy vampire. This experience makes me even more tired of the entitlement that comes to tipping nowadays. Servers make $15 an hour nowadays yet this server thought he was entitled to a $10 tip for his mediocre service, and didn't even give me my receipt or say goodbye. This experience makes me want to avoid sit-down restaurants, I am so tired of servers assuming they're entitled to my money. It is called gratuity for a reason. That means UNNECESSARY. I likely won't be coming back here again for quite...
