First time to the 303 Sports Grill, and found a really great experience. This is a fairly typical sports bar with a nice selection of American bar foods, drinks, plenty of TVs, music and friendly service. Saturday night dinner service was very busy, with wait times for seating. The inside music is pretty loud, which makes conversation a bit difficult, so opted for an immediate table on their small outdoor patio with a live music.
Service was immediate, with a drink order and appetizer, and regular check-in after. Ran started and the server was able to move us to an inside table, which was very much appreciated. Appetizer of Gouda Mac n Cheese Bites were served hot and gooey inside. Entrees include a variety, with Burgers, Reuben, and Cuban sandwiches. Concluding the meal with a dessert of Funnel Fries. Burgers were well prepared and prepared with care both in preparation and serving. Reuben was very nicely prepared, grilled, with the ingredients evenly spread across the sandwich which made is easy to eat. A note on the Reuben, the sauerkraut is pretty mild and also includes a creamy coleslaw, but overall was really good. Cuban was prepared in same manner with a nice evenly spread sandwich and served hot out of the kitchen.
Each entrée is served with a side of fries with an option to substitute a number of options (there is a $2 upcharge to substitute – which is plainly shown on the menu). Lastly, the dessert of Funnel Fries were amazing, sizzling hot from the kitchen with a side of caramel and chocolate dipping sauce.
Even in this busy Saturday night rush, all the food from appetizer, entrées and dessert were served hot and fresh - Awesome service. This is lively and fun place to get together, and will definitely consider returning with more friends.
** Special comments: Thanks to our server Hanna who provided great service and also arranging for us to move to an inside table after our choice of a patio table was rained out.
Hints for a visit: This is a popular place, so expect a wait at peak times. Save room...
Read moreHad dinner here last night before going to a movie. The first thing I noticed upon entering was how loud the music was, I don’t know why restaurants do this, I like to converse with whom I’m dining with and I felt like I was shouting. Our server, Marco, was personable, asking what are plans were for the evening and taking a moment to talk about scary movies. His service was on point, put our order in for the fried pickles as soon as we mentioned them. Oh, let’s talk about the fried pickles! By far the best I’ve ever had! They’re cut lengthwise (like French fries), fried to the perfection 👌 and come with a generous side of spicy ranch, actually enough for the large order of pickles that were served. The only complaint I have is with the Deluxe Grilled Cheese sandwich I ordered. It’s described as “your choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and bacon.” It was served on lightly toasted bread (really light), not grilled at all, the cheese was not melted and the slice of onion on it was so thick it overpowered the entire sandwich. I could barely taste the “good” pepper jack cheese Marco recommended. The concept is great but maybe call it a Deluxe BLT because that’s basically what it was. I will say the upgraded sides in lieu of fries was nice, we both chose Mac and cheese ($2 extra), it was a good sized serving and the cheese sauce was really tasty. My friend had the Ruben sandwich, which was really piled high with corn beef (looked so good I should’ve ordered it too). We had already filled up on the fried pickles appetizer and of course we were planning on popcorn at the movie, so we barely touched our sandwiches (well and I didn’t want to reek of onion) but we did take togo boxes (I left behind the onion). I’m sure I’ll be back, it’s at a great location if you’re planning on a quick bite before a movie and the service was great, but I’ll probably stick with the...
Read moreWe were exited to see a place finally open in this spot again, but NOT impressed. The whole dinner experience was terrible. Waited 10mins for wait staff to show up at our table and it wasn't that busy. Finally ordered 303 wings which were OK, and a beer (way over priced $6 pint). Wings took 20 mins or longer to get, and then I had to take my beer to the bar to replace because it was some apricot thing when I ordered an IPA. We finally ordered dinner that took about 40 mins without our waitress checking in and then some other waiter brought our food. I never received my salad and my son never got his soup, and dinner arrives. We tell the waiter and he seems to care less. The burgers seemed OK but $13, and how can you serve a BBQ chicken sandwich like that for $12?! I imagine Wendy's or McDonald's would be better. Small dry microwaved thin piece cheese and bread, thats it! Then finally got my salad and it was a pile of spinich, croutons and cheese. Oh and no fries with the sandwich. Got a basket finally and they were so salty they were inedible. Wife's and Son burgers seemed OK, but basically over priced. This place needs to hurry up and figure it out or it will be another hurricane blow by. Should have gone to Smoke n Fin like we planned for less money and fantastic food. We gave 303 a chance but won't be back. Too bad, and hopefully my review helped management get the place together for the other 5 star reviews (hard to...
