When this location opened it was awesome. Yes there were the normal glitches that go with getting a franchise up and running but the staff handled it well and the food was fantastic. Not so any more. We have been faithful about it - sometimes a ship will right itself - but after a year of disappointing meals totaling about 30 family visits, we just can not justify going here anymore.
First and most importantly, they have gotten really stingy with the teriyaki. When they opened, they would give you sauce cups that looked to be about 3 ounces - 2 cups for a medium bowl, 3 cups for a large bowl. This was the perfect amount to get a little sauce on every piece. The last few visits they have been giving exactly 1 cup per bowl regardless of size, and the cup is much smaller - about 1 ounce. This makes a huge difference in the dining experience, and is quite absurd because if your name is Teriyaki Madness the one thing you can't go cheap on is the teriyaki!!
The second big issue is the add-ons. When we order extra meat or sauce with a bowl it is very rarely included. We gave up completely on add-ons, and noticed no difference in the portions, very disappointing for us because we like our meals a little meatier and are willing to pay for it. This is a training and procedural issue for management that could be dealt with simply by using a highlighter pen on add-ons when the order first prints.
Other than those 2 issues the rest of the operation seems to be fairly well managed for a fast food location. There will always be times when a staff member doesn't perform well, or supply chain gets disrupted, but over many return visits, the food is fairly consistent, the staff is usually pretty good, and is is very rare to be told they are out of something. Yes, the wait time is a little longer than most fast food outlets, but it is a better...

Service was awful. completely unprofessional today was my first time ever going to this place, i’ve heard all over the place that this was the place to go and unfortunately no it’s not at all i had to sit there for almost 40 min while my food was sitting on the counter because there systems were down. then an employee came to the counter not in uniform starts cussing up a storm a gentleman got severely annoyed and walked out and an employee ran out after him trying to get him to come back in, i then asked if they had a food warmer so it could stay in it to keep it warm while i waited for the systems to come back up then staff decided to get irritated that i even asked that all i wanted was to get a quick meal for dinner then i was asked if i had cash or if i could use the mobile app. after 40 min they asked me if they could right my card info down so they could put it in once the system came back on all i’m going to say is
everyone needs to learn customer service or this place will not last long this place is not worth any hype service is terrible food was cold. and honestly wasnt that good at all and who ever said that the containers are meant to stay warm for up to 45 min is full of it your better going to tokyo joe’s or honestly anywhere else this place is a serious joke. way to leave a good impression on a first time customer…… Teriyaki Madness??? more like...
Read moreNot only is their food horrible, but so is management. My son worked for this company, he was yelled at and belittled by Rey and Terri to the point of quitting. He was hurt on the job while working, sent to the ER and they refuse to have their workers comp company pay the bill. I wrote a review on FB and received a text from Terri harassing me for writing the review, then they deleted the review so that no one would be able to see it. Nothing but bad reviews and Rey trying to belittle you for giving your opinion, did I mention that Rey is Terri's friend from college and has no background in business!! Go to Tokyo Joes. Much friendlier service and food is fantastic.
EDIT: Its to bad that they had to again make up lies to make themselves look good. 1st Terri the owner texted me harassing me because I made the review. I don't even go to the restaurant cause the food is so bad and again management is the worst. When My son started working there he made it clear as did I that he was not to work every Saturday. Rey continuously scheduled him for Saturdays. This is the classic friend defending friend. My sons credit is being tarnished because we continue to receive medical bills for this accident. We have asked them to pay the bill since their insurance will not and they continue to defend that this was not...
