Starting in earnest about 2020 Littleton has become a familiar second home kind of place. My spouse is from Colebrook - 60 miles to the north, and Littleton has been a waypoint in her / our journeys to be with family (cousins, aunts, brother, ex sister in law etc). The Beale House in its 2020 and beyond incarnation was an amazing dining experience - warm rolls in a cast iron pan, true farm to table seasonal menu and a great atmosphere - all something quite extraordinary. This year we learned the Beale House had closed (so sad) but that Tall Provisions offers some of the same great food, and exceptionally friendly mostly (or exclusively) female staff.
