Reasons I rate this place 5 stars: all things considered prices aren't too bad. I like that they have added a feature where you can pause your timed game card for later (would have been even better if I would have paid attention to it ealier, but by the time I noticed we only had 12 minutes left so... next time ) . Every time the staff has been really friendly to both myself and kids. They do a great job of keeping positive in an environment full if screaming kids with varying degrees of manners. Speaking of which, it's large enough to avoid the parents and kids who would otherwise make the day unpleasant (if nothing else my kids are happy that mom doesn't have to offer parenting for other peoples kids since they cant seem to bother or get off their phone) and if they show up by your current game you just rotate to a new spot. If you have teens you can bring them here for a couple of hours and it helps remind them they are in no way ready to be parents and you might even get them to act like a kid and get off the phone for a bit (though later they will of course deny they enjoyed any of it). This last time they had a couple of games down (there was still more than enough options), but I guess to make up for it they went around occasionally and used their cards to give kids a free game. I don't come here weekly but I'd say about once every 2 to 3 months as a treat to my youngest for the last 3 years and haven't had a bad experience at...
Read moreBeing that it is a franchise you would expect to have a similar experience at every location. However this location lacks competant staff. They have QR codes on every table so that you can order from there and it's supposed to be super convenient. I placed my order and never received acknowledgment like the email response stated I would. My order was not brought to my table and I was not given a buzzer for it either. After the designated time I was given for my order to be ready, I walked up to the counter and asked for the status. I was told that "THE SYSTEM put my order in as a to-go order". No big deal. I included a salad bar with my order and so I started to fill up my to go to container at the salad bar when the front desk attendant addressed me and accused me of stealing food! She tells me next time please go to the front counter and place my order. Apparently no one understands how these QR codes work even though they're on every single table and I had to speak with a manager and defend myself for getting my salad. Completely unacceptable. Then as I'm finally enjoying my salad there is a FLY in my lettuce! I just wanted to pick up and leave as quickly as possible. I was made to look like a thief in front of other guests and for what? A salad with flies in it?! I suggest perhaps retraining staff and maybe something to cover the open food at...
Read moreSince they remodeled the whole store needs more training. It was my daughters birthday and I received an email that if we didn't book a party we could purchase what they called a family celebration. So we get to the register and ask the cashier and she's never heard of it. So she asks the door girl who gives her a flyer that shows that they do offer it. Then she spends about 15 minutes trying to ring it up on the register. I tell her nevermind and just purchase a regular package. Then the register freezes and for another 15 minutes we wait. I felt sorry for the cashier because none of her other employees seemed to care that she was struggling. The store is in desperate need of some quality training and team building exercises. It has been beautifully re designed and very clean. The last complaint I have is that we ordered a round chocolate cake and waited 20 minutes before we asked why it was taking so long. They then informed us that they were out of that cake. Again where was the communication to the cashier that they were sold out of round cakes. The only plus is that they did replace it with the next size up at no extra charge. We love Chuck E. Cheese and hope that this store gets the training they deserve for...
