Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Live Oak

I went here with my friends after a long day at work (servers) before half of them showed up we were greated by there nasty manager accusing us of drinking alcohol in the bathroom which is why they couldnt serve one of us a drink. we did not have any and the bathroom was occupied by 3 other people but we were the ones 2 of them hasnt even arrived yet and after this our waiter attitude was compleatly diffrent the sinks were absolutely digusting one smelled like a sewer when turned on the other one didnt work at all and the third one the sink wasn't properly cemented in she told us we reaked as well but stay with me here till the end. She then says one of the employees dug through the trash and found alcohol (racoon style) which is absolutely disgusting in its self as trash can are filled with tampons and bloody pads. We told her it was not us but not a big deal as we were going to a movie after. When the food arrived 2 of our friend shared a burger and me and my other friend got our own are garlic fries were so drenched in grease u could fill half a bowl of it NO EXSAGERRATION the burgers were ALL dry and greasy as hell as well. I took three bites and couldnt handle it anymore I have lupus and my tummy hurt immediately I after getting my bill for chips a soda amd a burger was 39.98 I complained about the burger and explained the issue the manager said we'll thats how they come. To which one friend says my fries wernt like that to which the manager snatched the food out of my hand says she will take the burger off while passing our waiter he goes is everything ok she responds no she just doesn't like the burger have to take it off when the waiter returns he told us sorry amd tells us how the manager is complaining in the back about it and how its not a big deal . We had to return our tickets three times over mess ups on the tickets the manager asks who is who while 2 of are friends are in the bathroom she proceeds to shove the tickets into my hand saying she doesn't know where they go and one drops she just walks away. When are friends return they tell us how a employee was in the bathroom for the entire time they were in there when going back in one is rummaging through the trash AGAIN and walks out NOT WASHING HER HANDS has blue blonde hair DIGUSTING!! we ended up missing our movie as all of us got really sick to discover we have food poisoning! All 4 of us! And guess one low and behold no alcohol in our system! I called today and the same manager got on the phone did not want to give me her name until she knew why amd still wouldn't give the name but older lady short hair and bitchy told her coming as as a manager thats not how u speak to employees or guest amd was told not to tell her how to do her job she says i can tell david tomrrow who ever that is! she was very difficult giving me the corporate number refused 3 times before and when asked for the store number she acts smart and says the one you just called I say no the one every store has she tells me the number and says I can call her boss David tomorrow i said I will but I need the corporate number finally get it and she hangs up on me after letting out a grunting sigh this place was digusting over priced and rude as absolut hell there was more in-between but this is...

So very disappointed and disgusted. My wife and I got dinner here on a Saturday and the first impression from the hostess was unprofessional and disorganized but I understand that’s the entry level job so I wasn’t going to be fussy about it. Got the onion rings and they were half decent and came out reasonably quick but we needed to request napkins twice. Then the wait. I ordered the double chicken breast dish (which was one chicken breast that was butterflied into two portions) and my wife ordered a burger. We waited 40 minutes for the entrees after we got the appetizer. When the food finally arrived we were told that they were “waiting on the chicken to cook” mind you it was a butterflied chicken breast that should only take 3 and a half minutes on each side to get to 165 degrees in the center. And here is the main issue. The chicken was smothered in a sauce that was disturbingly similar to Taco Bell’s mild sauce paired with an extremely acidic salsa. It was wretched. I ordered the breaded zucchini spears as my side and they were as cold as could be, also they had 0 seasoning and were soggy. My wife “upgraded” her fries to the garlic Parmesan fries for an extra $1.49 and you’d expect them to be tossed in a garlic powder and some Parmesan sprinkled across them. But no, there was a singular scoop of raw jarred garlic in the middle and literally (I counted) 8 tiny strings of pre cut Parmesan. I didn’t finish the meal I apologized to the waiter for the fact that he was forced to present that trash to a table since he was really nice and didn’t deserve to be the messenger for the kitchens and management’s clear laziness. And the kicker to all this is that on the way out of the “restaurant” we caught a glimpse of the kitchen and there was a myriad of raw and cooked food strewn about the floor with the degenerate cooks stepping all over it without a care in the world as to the filth that they are trudging through and serving slop from. Don’t you dare call yourself a restaurant and charge people money for that heinous garbage let alone call yourself a GOURMET BURGER RESTAURANT. What an...

When rating restaurants, there are 3 criteria. Food, Service and Cleanliness (Google has it as Atmosphere) So if all 3 are as expected, or par for the course, I will rate the restaurant 4 Stars. If one of them is below, the other 2 need to be above to pick up the slack. That is my standard.

Let let me start with the positive: Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us very often. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing I can say.

The food came out very greasy, the burgers looked like they were haphazardly thrown together and the buns were soggy. The fries seem like they had been sitting. It wasn't the most terrible food, but also did not meet my expectation.

The worst thing about my entire visit, was to cleanliness. I usually like to go to the restroom after I eat to find out how clean the kitchen is. I've been in the restaurant industry for a very long time, I have owned a couple of multi-million dollar restaurants, however clean the restroom is is how clean the kitchen is. That is frightening! I have added a picture of the restroom, just one though. In this picture you can see that the stall was out of toilet paper, there was no toilet paper and the other stalls either, the toilet seat cover papers were also out, and the fixture holding the toilet seat cover papers was coming off the wall. Wall. You click on the picture and look closely. You can see that the toilet is also leaking in the back. The restroom stunk. There were lights out and the restroom, there was trash, and empty toilet paper roll in one of the sinks. And the sink that I used to wash my hands had a very loose faucet. Had I gone into this restroom before eating I would have RAN OUT of there.
