Well, we'll start off with the positives. Food is great, place was clean. Very cool vibes and setup. They have a small patio which is awesome. A few of the staff members that I've come into contact with were awesome people.

What I have a problem with is when managers are unprofessional. I've been in that awkward situation as an employee where I've been called out and redirected in front of other staff members and/or while out on the floor. Its absolutely humiliating and displays a great misuse of power. Micromanaging is not a sign of a strong team, that's bad leadership. No wonder every time I come to this location I hardly ever see the same staff member twice, I'd quit under this management too. Thats not a good work environment, have you come into contact with a freebirds staff member with a sub par attitude? I completely understand why the environment is so melancholy when you have managers with such bad attitudes. Then on top of that she (This particular manager, Cassie, I believe it was) is really rude/condescending to customers in addition to her staff. I had a question about the contents of something and she seemed so annoyed and put out. When I walked into freebirds in the first place she didn't greet me, didn't smile, wouldn't look up from her phone. I don't want to be "that person" either, I've very low maintenance and easily impressed but she was visibly sweating.. like really really sweaty. Incredible food and service all wrapped up in a very cool package. We eat here a few times a month and we love all the great food, my favorite is mixing the vegan beond meat with chicken on nachos. OMG you must try it. Everybody there is super friendly. The restaurant atmosphere is pretty cool too. So i took my family out for lunch again today and I have to say Freebirds in Selma never disappoints. My wife had a fresh salad and I had the Monster with steak and chicken the food was excellent as always Emily made lunches and its great that they recognize us regulars. The service was friendly and music and restaurant atmosphere were fun. One thing I really like is that bathrooms are always spotless I saw the manager check the bathrooms multiple times while we were there and he was constantly out keping us all entertained and getting us soda refills.
