Bobatopia — Restaurant in Selma

Opened about 4 months ago, I was excited to see a new search result pop up on Yelp! On the way there I thought Google was taking me to the boba shop in the next plaza... And I was like noooo... Luckily I kept driving to the Chuy plaza.

Tried their original milk tea and it had a floral taste that I wasn't expecting but overall the drink was creamy and sweet. Personally, I like my MT more tea taste and less sweet so may try it less sweet next time. The vibe and workers here definitely make me want to come back and find a favorite drink. It's clean and friendly.

There's no large group sitting area, just a few tables for 2. The menu doesn't cover all the drinks apparently, like he said they have green tea and can make a milk tea with it but it's not on the menu. Their dessert looks tempting too but...

Awful. The team that's works on Saturdays in the afternoon was horrible. The long-haired Hispanic guy was so rude when we asked what a Taro was. We were curious. NEW CUSTOMERS! After I placed the order, he was so rude to his coworker while we watched my drink being made. The rude guy didn't even attempt to ask his coworker to make my drink. Instead, she had to ask him. So while she made the Taro Milk, the Caucasian girl wiped her nose while preparing my drink with no gloves. We immediately asked her to stop, and she rudely stated that her hands don't go into the drink! We were appalled. Another coworker even told her to wash her hands. And the girl rudely looked back like she didn't have to wash them. I asked for a refund. I will never go here. I highly recommend never to stop by this place. It's...

My mom and I had our very first rolled ice cream here, and let me tell you, we haven't stopped talking about it. We are ice cream fanatics, so we know a good ice cream from a bad one, and Bobatopia is now at the top of our list! It's a shame I'm from Kentucky, because my mom and I would come here every day if we could. We're actually talking about grabbing some before hitting the airport tomorrow lol.

This ice cream is creamy and smooth, and it tastes super fresh. I got the strawberry pre-set rolled ice cream on their menu. It came with strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, and boba balls. The taste of everything together made my heart sing. I will never forget...
