No. Yuck. Bad. Went on mother's day. The reviews for this place are stellar. I'm sorry, but it was disgusting. We prefer fresh food and not deep fried southern dishes, even though I was raised in Texas. It took an hour for the food to come out, even though they had slowed down (we were warned ahead of time that it would be like this.) Looking at the menu in line, (this is an order ahead place, which does not necessarily mean it will be bad, but this was.) we really didn't see anything that stood out. Menu had oysters on the half shell. I asked which coast they were from. Yeah. Apparently not a question they get often, which should have told me something. They told me that they were out. OK. Ordered an appetizer to split between the 4 of us. Sat down, ate an unimpressive basket of coconut shrimp and hush puppies. Kids went outside to the playground (which is super small, but welcome, for parents of bored kids) Food finally came. The photos are of what I left on my plate. Which was most of what I was served, it came cold. Cold fried food is disgusting. Kids meals are generic everywhere, so my kids were happy. My husband and I decided that this was a one time deal, and we'll never be back. Food like what they serve here is popular, I know it's a southern thing, but I'm not on board. If you like greasy, tasteless food, you will love it here. If you want a decent dinner of generic seafood, go to Red Lobster. If you want something nice, and that you and your family/date will remember and really enjoy, this ain't it. There are a billion better places to eat. Papouli's Greek restaurant (across the parking lot) is such a better choice! If you love this place, yeah, I don't get that. But OK. Your choice. As for me and my family, we will never be back. No! Yuck! Bad!

Very excited to eat here for the first time, especially with the large amount of good reviews I read. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience here. First off, it took over 25 minutes to get our food. And no, they were not busy at all. We ordered grilled shrimp tacos and a grilled chicken sandwich. Nothing fancy. I will start with the grilled shrimp tacos. They looked absolutely beautiful (Despite being “salad shrimp”). After taking one bite, the flavor was bland and the shrimp was as cold as can be. And I don’t mean room temperature either. It felt like it came out of the fridge before hitting the plate. Next was the grilled chicken sandwich. This at least had great flavor, but it was as dry as beef jerky. We spoke with the manager, and he acted as bland as the food on our table. He did, however, remedy the situation by bringing another plate of hot grilled shrimp tacos (still as bland as the first but the temperature was right). Pictured is the grilled shrimp taco. If you look very closely, you can see the shrimp

Very slow service even at 4pm. The food was ok. We first ordered 3 platters- 2 Aransas platters, 1 spicy diablo and shrimp platter and few sides. They took almost 30 min to bring our food. While waiting, I placed another side order of potatoes and corn bread. They couldnt even bring a side order fast enough. We were done with the main meal and they still didnt bring the extra order of sides. So we ended up taking those to-go. They said service is slow due to being Mother's Day but comm'on, at 4pm and you cant even bring the side order quick that are supposed to be ready to go items. The management is poor and should review their process. I wouldnt go there again. In terms of food taste- Spicy diablo fish was overcooked and not much flavor. Hot beans arent that good. Rice pilaf doesnt have any taste or flavor. Fried fish was better. Stuffed shrimp were good. Coleslaw was good. Tarter sauce and cocktail sauce was good. The oil they used to fry has an aftertaste and isnt very good.

So, I'll grant you stage 4 cancer makes it difficult to eat much of anything. I explained breading was usually a bad idea and uneatable for me. But I love fried okra, and I love catfish. The nice kid at the register tried to ask the Mgr about grilling catfish, or frying okra without breading. Mgr said it was illegal to grill catfish, maybe not common, but illegal??? But I bought it anyway, shame on me. I also bought grilled shrimp, something i eat frequently with no problem. These shrimp, while not over cooked, had probably been sitting in the open air for hours and the skin was rubber, not to mention zero taste except straight oil. Yuk! $45 later we look for a table, everyone in sight is standing around talking while every booth sits empty except for the piles of fairly empty plates. So I remove dishes myself, grab a wet towel from 2 chatting employees and wipe down at least 1 table. I grabbed a dry paper towel to dry the table while one guy admonished us for not having the tracker on the mat yet. A gentleman that has worked there for years started cleaning nearby tables, while the other guy complained about procedure, cleaned one table and left to do other things. My unsweetened tea, turned out to have way too much sugar and was undrinkable for me. Couldn't eat the catfish, or okra or slaw or even the rubber shrimp. We decided to leave and I spoke to the original kid at the register. I told him thanks for trying but to let the manager know he'd successfully stolen $45 from me for a 100 % inedible meal. Long story short, the yaking guy I took the cloth from and the one complaining about corporate decisions in front of customers.... Was the manager lol. I really hope corporate sees...

Food is good. Customer service sucks. I'll never go back. Curbside delivery "service" is a joke. I ordered food online. Received a text message that my food was ready. Texted them back at the number provided on the signs behind all of the "curbside delivery" parking spaces. Waited ten minutes. Nothing. Called them at the number provided on the sign... Someone picked up the phone, never said anything, never replied to me, and then hung up on me. I had to go in and wait in line. Then, when I spoke with a cashier, she was incredulous that I was irritated. She said "it's not our fault, they put a new system in and if you text the number on the sign we don't get a notification." Then WHY wouldn't you cover up that number? Why would you post a number that you KNOW doesn't work? I asked to speak to the manager. At this point, 20 minutes had gone by and I told him I didn't want my food. It was no doubt cold by now and I wanted a refund. He couldn't understand why I didn't want my food. I literally had to explain to him why I was upset that they had old numbers posted and why I wouldn't want to eat cold food that's supposed to be hot. You could almost see the neurons in his brain struggling to understand. He had a total deer in the headlights look and just seemed like a complete idiot. I will...
