Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Live Oak

This location is horrible for kids! I signed up my 9 year old twins, thinking we would have pictures to mount on the wall at home. The class was very small, only about 6 or 7 kids. The kids were rushed, the pictures were not outlined so some of the younger kids struggled with drawing everything from the start. When parents would help, the teacher would make rude comments that we need to let the kids do it so that they can be proud of their work. After the class ran over by an hour, she rushed the kids to take a group picture even though they still were not finished. Most were frustrated and not able to finish the painting, much less add finishing touches. My son was going so fast to finish, he missed the group pictures. The teacher didn't wait for him to be in the picture. He was really upset and sad. Extremely RUDE to leave a child out!!! Shame on her! The teacher even knew that most paintings did not come out nice so she said parents could bring them in on Saturday to get fixed - free of charge. NO THANK YOU! I will just buy paint and brushes and let my kids fix...

Really bummed that my boyfriend and I didn't see anywhere on the website when booking our class that it was going to be in the dark. I didn't even think that was something I would have to look out for if it was listed, which I honestly don't think it was. Having two of the paints glow in the dark seemed cool in theory, but it might've been better to just let us see them in the dark after the class. There was one break in between where they did give us a few minutes to see our progress with the lights on, but I know we weren't the only ones who audibly groaned when the lights went back out. So disappointed that needless to say there were a lot of more mistakes made painting that we couldn't tell were happening in the dark; made the whole process more frustrating than a fun, care-free activity for...

Had an absolutely wonderful class with Laura. As someone who has been to quite a few of the se classes in NB and at the Forum, I have never had a bad class at these two locations. But overall Laura is personable, charismatic, talented, and her timing and instruction are impeccable! For any kind of a fun any day of the week I reccomend this place! Lots of fun and honestly if you listen to the instructors and have a great time and just have fun you'll never be disappointed. If you ever need a positive atmosphere and positive people around look no further! All I have left to say is thank you for such a wonderful time, and I will see you all...
