My first time cooking a meal for myself at a restaurant we were really excited to have a date night here. We walked in and a lady yelled for us to come to her section. She asked us if it’s our first time and I tell her yes I have never been here. She hands us a menu and leaves. She is walking back n forth in our section in a rush. The people next to us start smoking at their table so she told us to hold on and she helped assist over there. I never had her full undivided attention. She gives us the menu and ask what we want and I continue to tell her I don’t know I have never been here I have never done this before. Because of the language barrier it was hard to talk with my waitress. She couldn’t explain it to me like I needed her to. We went the most expensive all u can eat… I mean I guess.. we don’t know and she just keeps telling us 3 meats. I’m asking about veggies what’s included and she’s saying yes?! I wanted to know what veggies. We were frustrated so we just order the $40+ a person. She brings the food and walks away. Um.. do I just throw it on the paper?! Like what do I do!! I just sprinkled sesame oil and whatever brisket whatever is on the table. No instructions given to us. Small side of broccoli cucumbers kimchi and potatoes. I had to ask for soy sauce and siracha I don’t even know how many times. It got more packed in there, she’s overworked in her section. I’m asking random workers for more rice. I have to keep flagging her down because she would forget stuff. I wanted more potatoes they ran out. Only got to try one small dish of it and split it with my husband. So a quarter size of potatoes. I get the most expensive meat including ribeye and they run out of calamari. We ordered the expensive all u can eat to take advantage and they ran out of that too!!! The shrimp was small. Once u cooked it they are salad size shrimp. Definitely not worth the PREMIUM side at all. I had to keep asking for plates etc. I was so frustrated. Then they bring out veggies but no meat. So we are just sitting there doing nothing and had to turn off the grill as it was getting too hot for no reason. Once we said we were done ordering more meat she kept standing around us asking if we were done. We would say yes then she is asking if we want our check while WE ARE STILL EATING ON OUR DATE. She gives us the check and we are still eating and talking and she’s waiting for our debit card!!! Like lady MOVE AROUND give us space. She stood by our table and it was so uncomfortable. She brought us some free dessert I don’t know what it was but she shouldn’t go away so we took a bite and I told my husband let’s just go. I spent $100 and I don’t even know on what. No sauce no seasonings language barrier and bare minimum service. It was a waste. I would never go back. Pictures looked amazing online I wish I had someone who spoke better English and who could recommend stuff cause all we had was tasteless meat with a salt n pepper shaker. Kimchi was good but nothing to come back and...
Read moreWe attempted to dine here as a group with three other families. All together we had 4 families /each family had 4 people each/ each family had their own grill (4 booths next to eachother). When it was time to order we were told we all had to order the basic bbq or premium bbq because we all came in together—-even though each family had their own grill. Another words if the family in the booth next to us or behind us wanted premium we all had to get premium. Most ridiculous rule ever. So one of the families asked, “ok, if I go sit at another booth away from my friends then I can order basic bbq?”. She said sorry since you came in as a party you all have to get the same thing. We asked to speak to a manager because she kept saying sorry it’s our management rules. We asked to speak to the manager, but was told the manager wasn’t there. It doesn’t stay anywhere on the menu that if you come in with a party that the entire party has to order the same thing. All the menu said was one option per grill and everyone sitting at that grill had to order the same thing which we understood but then when we were told we had to order whatever the people behind us were ordering because they came in with our party we decided to leave. On top of all this… we were the only people in the restaurant. Response to the owner: I said I understood getting what everyone else at MY table/Grill ordered! And it does not say per party….it says PER GRILL so maybe you need to change your table signs. But it’s ridiculous to expect all 16 people to order the same thing especially when they are sitting at separate table booths/grills. And charging families for little kids when they were told 2 of the kids would not be eating, we were literally the only people in the restaurant so it’s not like we can be sneaky and feed our kids behind your back. The fact that you have people that break the rules of sharing, doesn’t mean all your customers will. Please explain how I can share my food with the booth behind me? We did decide to leave and eat at another Korean food establishment that had way more options and better prices. Being that my husband and I actually lived in Korea we were very happy...
Read moreI wouldn’t ever leave a 1 star review but that’s the absolute bad taste I have in my mouth because of the “manager” Erick who completely disrespected not only myself but my party of 10! Yes 10 people first timers and excited to try this place out and Eric yelled at us in front of other people because someone brought a liquor bottle as a gift and had it away from the table it wasn’t until 45+ minutes did he come to our table , we had no idea and our server didn’t even tell us either but he popped at our table and was like “I’m telling you now NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS ALLOW and told us that several times with a major attitude I’m not even over exaggerating! We were all shocked I said sorry sir no one told us we’ll comply and he said “well listen I’m telling you now so take out now!” Dead serious for no reason we were shocked. The owner or upper management really need to have a serious talk with this so called manager. I’ll be leaving reviews on all platforms.
Also they ran out of pasta.
Update: Actually you did yell at us and several people can confirm even your own server apologized for your behavior. You were rude and disrespectful to us , I understand your rules about having no outside liquor but understand WE DIDN'T KNOW * and you could’ve approached us correctly to explain and we would’ve happily obliged but you didn’t even do that. And regardless the food was flavorless and we felt rushed , you ran out of certain foods and you couldn’t even accommodate such a a party of 10, you’re restaurant smells , take this review as you please but people must know about you and your work ethic, just by looking at other bad reviews your responses are so rude and disgusting. But like I said regardless I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone and I’m untitled to my opinion. So you sir have...
