Deke's Market - In Mah' Belly Deli — Restaurant in Live Oak

This is kind of a twofer business-that is to say two things in one location. The Deke's Market part-which is most of the physical location is a better then average convenience store. You know-beer, cigarettes, lottery tickets, coffee, chips etc. What makes this better then average is the close to the beach location and a wider variety of stuff. They've small discounts on smore's fixins dozens of types of chips, bottled drinks and surprisingly affordable decent quality wine. They sell coffee beans by the pound, and there is a coffee grinder in the store which is nice. Then there is the deli in back which is simply epic. There is just a ridiculous amount of customization that can be done-basically if you can think it up, they can make it. The basic Italian pastrami is extraordinary as well and the market offers a ton of selection-cold drinks, chips, desserts even craft beer should you so desire to go along with your sandwich. So while the market offers more selection then most, it's still an overpriced less viable stock then a grocery-but that deli in back is one of the better sandwich spots around. This place is da bomb! My daughter and I both make this are “go to” market when we. are in town! Deke’s is one of the last of the real neighborhood markets. It reminds of a place I used to go to when I was a kid back in Maine. This morning I stopped by for some creamer for our coffee and started talking to Shane who runs the In Mah Belly Deli in the back corner of the store. Before I knew it, I said good bye to Shane’s brother Steve at the front register and walked out with creamer, two avocado, egg, cheese, potato breakfast burritos and a complimentary small coffee! Amazing, delicious sandwich!! The produce was hearty and fresh. There was plenty of meat and the bread was fresh and yummy too. The service = top notch friendly, attentive, fast. Store is clean, easy parking. Overall my first visit I am a total fan, will definitely be going back, and recommending to friends/family. I was craving hard for a REALLY good deli sandwich, and they totally rocked my world!
