Firehouse Subs The Forum — Restaurant in Live Oak

My husband and I ordered from their fireman subs app and we did an in store pick up . The chips were missing and my soup was cold and sour. My husband called the store and a man named Raymond told us it was out of his control that he couldn’t do a refund . He told my husband you can come in and get the refund but he wouldn’t do it by pulling up our information. We live very far away and we told him this and he said it was out his hands . I told him you make and package the orders yourself and had enough time to gather and put it together ? What do you mean out of your hands ? He was extremely combative and rude to my husband and i . Another situation with the same person , we mobile ordered and i ordered a gluten free sandwhich . My sandwhich was not made gluten free and so my husband went to have it remade and he became upset with my husband . The other employees were nice and said it was okay and they remade it for him . They charge extra for gluten free bread plus i have an allergy . So in the end we’re just not coming to this location because i ended up getting sick . My soup was sour and they can never make my order right . You’re paying for a product that you don’t get . Terrible ,plus when people request gluten free it’s for a reason .if it’s paid for ,it should be remade given the product is paid for and that’s not what you received . This star if for the Forum location in SA. It was only my second time eating at FIREHOUSE. The first time was the location on the southside SA, Since my co-workers raved about the subs I tried it and was very impressed. The next day I decided to have lunch there, but the Forum location. Now I'm not a sandwich expert but when I tell you the sandwich that was made for me was horrible. I ordered the large New York Streamer which has two different meats. My sandwich had only one and not only that there were like three small strips of meat. It was so bad I just starred at it in disbelief. I had a huge wheat bread with three tiny strips of meat. At first I thought they just gave me a piece of bread with nothing in it. Needless to say I just threw it away. I have a theory why it was like that and best believe I'm going to...

Was excited about coming to get our subs for lunch. The gentleman at the register was really nice! I did notice however that two ladies were sneezing into the air. That was making the sandwiches (Turned head up into air) Had me a bit concerned and it was unsanitary! I said I will say an extra prayer before eating them! ( They should have sneezed in their shirt or sleeve and washed hands and changed gloves!) Get home and sit down to eat and then I heard a sigh I’m like what! There was a long hair in the steak & cheese sandwich. GROSS 🤢 So that ruined that moment and I had to give up half of my sandwich since the other person couldn’t eat theirs! So Very Disappointing!
