Asked for an ice cream that had caramel in it with something crunchy. Expected to buy a single scoop with a sauce on top. Single scoop listed as $3.00. didn't see sauce listing. I ended up paying $5.50 for a small scoop of ice cream that was mainly just vanilla, got caramel on top. Surprised by the expensive "Saturdae", I walked out to eat my ice cream in my car. Got three bites in to find that the ice cream was pretty much nothing but vanilla. Ridiculous. The lady I talked to refused to give me a refund claiming that I'd eaten half of it. I literally walked out and walked back in. What a rude woman. Luckily, one other guy was nice enough to give me my refund. No way in hell am I going to pay $6 for a melted vanilla ice cream sundae. You don't rush your customers. Especially when they clearly have never been there before. Terrible customer service. And the ice cream was disappointing as well. Price, sky high for a small serving. Never...
Read moreSo sad to see that Loard's has definitely gone downhill in the last few years. The first thing I noticed was the ice cream refrigerators completely covered with paper boba menus and signs that said they do not offer free samples. There are many boba places in town, why would Loard's sell boba anyway? Its an ice cream shop! I really would have rather seen the ice cream flavors to choose from in the refrigerator, instead I had to look at a menu on the wall behind the counter which listed some they didn't even have available. The customer service was terrible as well, not friendly at all, acted annoyed that we were there at all. I'm guessing it won't be too long until they're out of business too with the way they're...
Read moreWhat can I say, I go here constantly and will continue to do so bc itâs the one and only ice cream place right on the downtown Main Street (if you, like me, donât consider the soft yogurt place a few steps down to be âreal ice creamâ!). The ice cream and cones are fine. We get our ice cream and usually try to sit outside at one of the three chairs in their tiny little seating by the door. If there are no chairs open weâll go sit on a public bench before we stay inside the parlor - itâs just not a cozy place to hang out. They are one of these âminimum $ to use credit cardâ places so bring cash or be prepared to pay them a credit card fee. The dude who runs the place is not talkative or...
