Had come almost a year ago and did not have a problem. Last year my wife and I sat at the bar and ordered drinks. This time around we had friends visiting from out of state and got a table. Food tasted like it was reheated freezer items. The server rushed us the entire time and it made us feel uncomfortable. I had read reviews that said that some customers felt that some of the servers were racist. I didn't think any of this as I had a good experience previously but this time around was entirely different. We had gotten there at 11:15 and sat at one of the booths. The server immediately told us that the kitchen closed in 5 minutes and we were able to put our food orders in. As I mentioned before, the food literally tasted like something you'd buy straight from a supermarket frozen aisle. We got it within 5 minutes. As we were eating. The employees consistently came to the table to clear empty plates. It seemed normal at first but the towards the time we finished eating, they started clearing the table, taking away the condiments, and refilling the napkins. All while we were still at the table. This was around 12 Am, 2 hours before they closed. There were empty booths/tables that they didn't clear at this time but they decided to clear ours while we were still there. When the bill came, they had put a "tip" for 21% of the total bill on the itemized receipt, but not on the actual credit card card receipt and the server's exact words were "this is the tip, it's not on the credit card receipt so you have to add it on yourself." Normally for any service I tip appropriately for the service provided, however in this case the service did not meet their 21% suggested tip and I had tipped accordingly. At this same time the staff started cleaning off the table while we were sitting there (with wet rag, restocking condiments - things that are normally done when a party has left). The server took the receipt immediately and as we were leaving, stopped us and said that we were supposed to tip X amount. We didn't want to stay there any longer so we ended up paying what they wanted us to pay while feeling like second class citizens while everyone in the...

Just went yesterday. The ratings were great so thought we would try it. I know it's pretty much a sports bar but looks pretty dumpy and dark on inside. It was quite cool outside and air conditioner cranked inside. The customer sitting right beside us asked if the air conditioner could be turned down. It was Frigid in there. Half hour later still as cold so waitresses obviously didn't do anything about it. I understand it's always warmer for the server's but I think there has to be a happy medium. NOW, FOR THE WAITRESS, she never introduced herself, no biggie, but she was completely unwelcoming, short in her answers,NEVER ONCE CRACKED EVEN A FAKE SMILE AND WAS THE WORST SERVER we've had in a very long time. The food was average AT BEST. I would NEVER RETURN AND...

On this inaugural venture of the @OldPubClub Steve & Steve and the #Pubbettes decided to checkout @TheLandmarkNJ in #LivingstonNJ This building has been around since before 1882 as a former stagecoach stop and tavern. It has changed owners and names multiple times but has operated as the appropriately named “Landmark” since 1960. Our table had an assortment of tasty cocktails🍹 and some well prepared pub fare. The long wooden bar and high back booths really added to the old pub atmosphere. With one wall covered with pictures from past St. Patrick’s ☘️Days, you got the feeling that that is the best day to be there. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly. There was a nice selection of beers and we loved the music. 4 thumbs up from the #OldPubClub...

Stopped here because it was literally the first place that my GPS suggested. What a great find! It's small inside, with dark wood and old dive-bar vibes. Don't get me wrong, I like that. It was not crowded so that was nice. The weather was horrific today, so I'm guessing that's why it wasn't that busy for lunch. There were 3 guys at the bar and I made 4. I got the French Onion Soup and the Landmark Burger. Didn't realize the burger didn't come with fries but that turned out to be okay cause that burger was delicious and quite filling. The soup was good too - very hot and tasty. I think the cheese was provolone and I do prefer swiss and/or gruyere — but still, it was good. The bartender was friendly and refilled my diet coke several times. Glad I stopped here .. it was great!

I've been coming to the Landmark as long as I can remember. For years, it was a great place to grab a drink at a small, local place, and it still is, but the food is where it really shines. The juiciest and tastiest burgers in the area by far. Awesome boneless wings and great thin crust pizza too. Try their "frizzled onions" on your burger, or a salad. They are good on just about anything. Last night I tried putting them on a plain cheese pie and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. I think it is the only thing that I am ever going to order there again. If you are listening, I'D TRADEMARK THE LANDMARK FRIZZLED ONION PIE! Limited seating, so best to come early or off peak times to avoid waiting.
