I have been using this CVS for close to 10 years, but I am deeply disappointed by the consistently poor service and complete disregard for their customers that I have experienced in the last few months. It started with my 2 year old son being prescribed antibiotics. Instead of telling me right away they did not have the medicine in stock, I was asked to wait a bit longer each time I called to inquire. It wasn't until closing time that I learned they placed an order for the medication but will not be receiving it for a few days. This left my son without the antibiotic he urgently needed, wasting an entire day. This level of disorganization and disregard for a customer's well-being is simply unacceptable. A similar situation occurred a few months later, except this time I insisted on them telling me if in fact they have the medicine we needed instead of waiting longer. When I learned they do not, I asked them to forward the prescription to a local pharmacy, which had the medicine we needed. The pharmacy tech refused and hung up on me. This incident forced my husband and children to switch pharmacies, as he could not tolerate such appalling treatment. I reluctantly gave them one more chance last week by dropping off a paper prescription. Besides waiting in line for close to 25 minutes to just drop it off, they had no records of it at pick up. My prescription was lost. No apologies or solutions were offered, and I left empty-handed, feeling like just another faceless customer. This experience solidified my belief that this pharmacy views its customers as mere numbers, with no regard for their well-being or satisfaction. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the consistently poor service, lack of organization, and total disregard for customers' needs...
Read moreThe good... very helpful looking for product... The Bad... Racist!!! 2 women enter the store with very small dogs in their arms, one black one white.. The manager, because she had no name tag nor did she have on a uniform like the other employees helps black women with dog look for product. She sees dog and says nothing. She could not locate product requested and immediately leaves. After a few minutes manager returns to black women asking "does the dog have papers!" Women replies "service animals are not required by law to have papers." Manager says her statement again and women says her statement again. Eventually manager says "oh it's a service dog?" Then walks away befuddled. Women questions if the white women was asked if her dog had papers and the manager said "NO!' Then lies and says the women left the store when in fact the women was still in the store with her pet not her service animal. Sad Sad Sad world it is to be racially profiled in a store that stands for Customer Value Store. This store deserves no stars. Hope they treat their employees better than the customer. #cvs #cvsdiscrimination...
Read moreI had an extremely unpleasant experience with the staff at this pharmacy and with the pharmacy manager, Michael Caruso. I went to the drive-thru to pick up my prescription, and despite clearly calling for the staffâs attention, they took another customer before me. I had to limp my way inside just to get my medication.
When I told the staff member he had skipped me deliberately, he replied arrogantly that he âdidnât see meâ â a weak and unacceptable excuse. After I finally received my prescription and was heading out, I told him that next time I'll make sure you see me and gave him a hand gesture .
Suddenly, the manager chased after me outside the store and publicly humiliated me, saying I was ânot allowed in the store ever againâ because of a so-called threatening remark. The behavior was childish, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic customer service.
The staff is rude, untrained, and disrespectful. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere â ShopRite or Livingston Pharmacy, for example, where the staff is warm, professional, and knows how to treat people with...
