Odd Fellas — Restaurant in Lock Haven

I am writing this review as a fellow business owner in hopes that it reaches the owner. Ive been eating here since the grand opening. Once the business changed hands, service has gone completely downhill. The food IS good, and convenient to my location which is why I keep ordering. However, with that said, EVERY SINGLE TIME (this is no exaggeration), my order is wrong. And, it is not only wrong for just me, but also my staff who have stopped ordering due to the extremely consistent wrong orders. Whether it be online or over the phone, the ingredients I choose are never correct. I'm ALWAYS missing something, or they put the incorrect ingredients on the sandwhich. One time, I was served raw chicken-it was replaced for free, however, still unacceptable. I have refused to write a review for months as I know they are hurtful, but this review is so deserved. I would highly recomment a order review at the end of phone orders to make sure the order is correct, and I would also recomment that you reiterate to your chef's to read the order reciepts for details on online orders. There is no comment section but even when the order is crystal clear, it is always wrong. I've been served incorrect food when I can visibly see there is no one in the resturant-the only reason for this is because the chef isnt reading the ticket fully. After about 10 of these instances, i am here now, writing this review, as I just finished my 10th incorrect order of the same sandwich that I get everytime. I am deeply dissapointed, as I always pay 13+ dollars for food that is NEVER what I actually order. To say I am dissapointed is an understatement. My family and I frequented this place for years. Everything started out great, but the accuracy of the orders have declined dramatically. I can tolerate once in awhile, because mistakes happen. The last few times we ordered food, someone’s order was wrong. This time, my dairy intolerant fiancé had cheese on his food and my burger was not fully cooked. I had to finish cooking it before I could eat it. Not just a little pink, I can handle that...borderline red. My fiancé drove back to the restaurant to get the correct order. Not only did the staff do nothing in order to make up for the mistake, like a coupon, the order was still WRONG! Absolutely unbelievable!

Prior to that, my son’s grilled cheese sandwich was made with the incorrect cheese. He is the pickiest eater, so it was challenge convincing him to eat it and we still ended up throwing half of it away. I’m not sure what changes have taken place over the past few months, but I hope it gets addressed. It’s beyond frustrating to have to return to the restaurant with the incorrect food in order to receive the correct food, if you’re lucky.

Last year, I would have highly recommend Oddfellas, but now, I wouldn’t recommend anyone go there if they want their food...

Having recently moved to Lock Haven after living in big cities such as Charlotte and Los Angeles I noticed there aren't many restaurants that aren't fast food. If you're looking for a 3-10 minute quick made pre-patty this isn't the place for you. That said, My wait was only around 15 minutes for a islander burger and regular fries. That's a quick meal for any restaurant you sit down at. The person taking my order was very friendly and knowleged about the menu. The place is small to medium in size with an open kitchen; HOWEVER it does NOT smell like grease or overwhelming burgers and fries which is important to me. I don't like leaving a restaurant smelling like the food I ate. My burger was cooked perfectly and was juicy with tons of flavor with the Jamaican relish and mango. The fries are crispy and the best fries I've ever tasted. I will return to Oddfellas many times, next on my list is the blue moon burger. I like the atmosphere, the people, the craft drink selection. I think it's exactly what Lock Haven needed. A place unlike every other restaurant here. I think for the quality of food and the price reflect each other. It's perfect...
