The Riverside Saloon — Restaurant in Lock Haven

I was in town briefly while traveling. Decided this would be one of my local visits. I ended up coming back twice. During the day it was a mature crowd enjoying theirselves. A table of women were singing Shania Twain and enjoying theirselves. During the night it was a party atmosphere with a younger crowd. They have a bar area and a dance floor adjacent. Staff was nice enough. People could tell I wasn't from around there but treated me well, buying me drinks and sharing stories. Ended up meeting some locals and we continued on after the bar shut down for the night. Will definately come back should I find myself in...

Another reviewer mentioned that this is a smoke free bar, which is true in the traditional sense but I did notice a number of people openly vaping. So, that's something to keep in mind in the event that you're either an avid vapist or if you have a preference for not breathing in vanilla mint blueberry clouds of exhaled vapejuice. The lock on the men's room doesn't work so you may want to bring a spotter if you're going to need any privacy. Other than that, the beer selection is decent, they offer all manner of blue hued cocktails, mardi-gras esque rum buckets and the fried perogies are my new bar...

The business itself isn't bad, I saw myself going to the bar myself when I came of age! Now I sadly have to live across the street, just for their customers to be yelling, spinning their tires, and generally causing a disturbance, waking up my family through the night. The bar needs to take responsibility for letting patrons get drunk, just for them to come out and disturb the peace. We all got to grow up sometime, and I would rather not take action, but I am totally willing on doing that if the bar can't promote...
