We stumbled upon this place because the Chinese restaurant across the street was closed. Lucky for us! THIS PLACE WAS EXCELLENT! I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 40 years and I would put the food up in a competition with other 5 star restaurants. Every bite of food was cooked perfectly! We started with their deviled egg appetizer. Today’s version had sautéed shrimp on top, cooked perfectly. My only criticism is I would like to see 6 halves served instead of the 4 piece portion. We both ordered the bruschetta salmon entree and once again the salmon, tomatoes and quinoa side dish were cooked perfectly! The menu had an interesting, varied selection. After dining at many other small, local restaurants across the country, I was hesitant to choose some of the items because I’ve been disappointed countless times. However, after this meal, I’m looking forward to trying the majority of the selections because I am impressed with their skills and attention to detail. The service was excellent as well, friendly, timely, knowledgeable and perfectly paced. I would give it 6 stars if I could, I was that impressed! Definitely try this place when you are...
Read moreUpdate: We come here several times a year, especially for birthdays. I decided to come here for my birthday on 2/13/23 rather than drive to Williamsport for sushi. Whole experience was going great until my boyfriend pointed out a roach on the back of my booth near my shoulder. I used Google lens quick to confirm the bug type even though I was pretty positive, then smashed it quick with my shoe. I told the waitress who wiped it onto the floor and thanked me for killing it. When we went to pay our almost $95 check I asked if we could report the roach to management to warn them before they may have a chance to spread, trying to be helpful. I got "I AM management and it was ONE bug." and that was end of discussion. I have severe anxiety so I wasn't going to push the issue, but fair warning because if they don't want to take this seriously it could become a bigger issue. Idk if we'll be back for a while now...

Read moreIt looked closed when we arrived on Sunday, but the door was ajar. What a great find. We started with a strawberry salad with goat cheese and topped with a berry dressing, yum! We also ordered the crab bisque. Then we had scallops royale with risotto and steamed broccoli. The steamed broccoli was perfectly seasoned, and the risotto was a great compliment to the scallops. For dessert, we had their berry cupcake with lemon sorbet. The cupcake was served warm. I mean, this kind of meal one would expect in a large city like Dallas or New York. But the cook here in this small town is an absolute artist with his culinary skills. The AibBnb we rented for the night on 66 acres of heaven, Jeff and Christina, recommended this restaurant. Glad they did! These are our designated destinations should we ever find ourselves in their part of the...
