disclaimer: if I could rate 0 stars I would While visiting relatives that live a bit past Lock Haven, I decided to stop at this shop because I had seen a lot of posts on social media. I was very excited as it seemed like a cute shop & friendly people from the pictures I had seen! NOPE. Not even 2 minutes into walking in the store, the management was screaming at an employee (who was clearly already in a panic/distress) in front of the entire store. I’ve never been so mortified. So so unprofessional & blatantly rude. On top of that, the product shelves were extremely dirty with dust all over packaging, the floors were not clean, & some candies put out were well passed expiration. I went into the Sweet Shop today for some inspiration for Easter baskets, and I left feeling victorious. I found an incredible selection of Japanese candy. Typically, stores will sell a few items, like Pocky and Japanene Ramune sodas, but It Is What It Is had a huge assortment of these items and more! From Hi-Chews, to Puchao, to Bourbon EveryBurger (chocolate cookies shaped like hamburgers), to senzu beans, I left with a large variety of items. Everyone needs to go to this store! You walk towards the store and you see an awesome window display. Once you are in the store, you are greeted by the most wonderful, kind owners! They are so helpful in finding the best goodies for anyone on your list! They have all sorts of amazing products for you, friends, family, and even pets! There is just something about this store that makes you feel like part of the family and that is super rare for a business to go that extra mile.
