WELL, BUTTER MY BISCUIT!!! HENRY'S EGG-ACTLY WHAT I NEEDED TO START MY DAY!!! (Lockhart Breakfast!!! God Bless Texs!) We (The Villain aka Ray & I), had a hankering for a hearty breakfast! We wanted to start our day off better than yesterday's start! (He doesn't act right when he's hungry! Truthfully, I don't either) I looked up a "Lockhart breakfasts", and found Henry's with great ratings, reviews and they served breakfast all day! Ray aka TV (The Villain) ordered the Meat Lovers Breakfast (see photo) and side of Homemade Biscuits & Gravy! I ordered The Homestyle Breakfast (ONLY $7.29!). The Biscuits are to DIE for! Lite Fluffy Buttermilk biscuits, clearly made from scratch! Bacon was thick and perfectly cooked, home fries and eggs were perfectly cooked the only way, I enjoy them. I took a bite of the biscuits and gravy and about jumped out of my chair, it was sooo good!!!! Gravy made from scratch using sausage drippings and tons of sausage! TV's breakfast looked good, (I didn't ask for a bite, I was too busy eating like I had a slit throat!). He demolished his meal (I ain't lying, I demolished mine too!) Our server Shannah (not sure how she spells her name), was as sweet as a Fredericksburg Peach!!! She was welcoming, courteous, smiling and efficient! Thank you, Shannah!!! You can't beat Henry's breakfasts and the prices are so inexpensive, you feel like you're robbing them! I'll definitely be back!!!
Ps. I would love a Henry's t-shirt! I wear a women's medium

Read moreStopped in for what we were hoping to grab one of thier "best burgers in town". We ordered our sons meal before ours due to looking at other options on a decent sized menu. We order maybe 5 mins after his meal was ordered. His breakfast plate comes out, looks good, he has it almost gone & the waitress says I'm sorry when I put in your order on the computer it didn't send to the kitchen and they are making it now. 45 mins it took total to make to 2 Guacamole/Queso burgers. I regret not taking a picture of what was brought to our table. If you think that a couple melted processed cheese slices are queso then you are wrong. My husband and I attempted to eat the burger, however after 2 bites we were over these burgers. So my husband asks for the check. The waitress says ok, brings us the tab, doesnt ask anything about our meals thats are no where close to being eaten. Asks my husband if he wants a to go box, he told her Absolutely not for the burgers.. Just a small one for the fries.. $22 for yummy fries to go with our McDonald's burgers that we got once we left. Extremely disappointed that not a single person addressed the food took too long to make because the order was't submitted at first as well as that we didn't eat any of the burgers they made. Poor, poor customer service. Would not recommemd this place to anyone and wouldve rated them a 0 if I could've.
*Update- Did get a gift card in order to get this restaurant again. Will try to...
Read moreGreat place for a family meal, or just to grab some good food. Everything on the menu SLAPS. From their homestead breakfast plates, to their various lunch & dinner options. They're well rounded! From Southern comfort foods, Mexican dishes, Italian, & even seafood. They are more of a "mom & pop" style restaurant, their dining area fills up fairly easily, not too much space. You can definitely tell they have their regulars, and they tend to them in that fashion. Otherwise, just be prepared to wait for a table to open. It can take a while, but if you're lucky they'll have some of their more efficient staff working that day. They seem to hire more of the younger generation for their wait staff, usually they're good on service, but there are times more than once that we've hoped to get more response and attention for refills or other needs. Nothing serious, just what's expected from a small town restaurant. The food is worth yhe wait though! I'll say that. But definitely plan ahead of time if you're thinking of going during any of the peak times, and/or going in a group. As I said, their seating is limited and they don't have much space inside. Not sure if they offer reservations, it doesn't seem like it, but I have yet to try it out. All in all, one of our top "go to's" in town. You won't regret giving it a try, trust me. Other than wait times, the service here is great. Again, this place is worth...
