Beanie’s Candy Store (Ice Cream and Popcorn) — Restaurant in Lockport

My husband and I were there because he wanted ice cream. The shop is small but set up nicely. He had the Fat Elvis and I had mint chocolate chip. Both were very delicious. There's a variety of 8 flavors for ice cream. The owner Gina, was super nice, friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable!! Her helper, sorry I forgot her name, was great as well! There's a variety of drinks, chocolates, gummies, chocolate covered items, and some novelty treats. One small table to eat ice cream inside and benches outside. The one drawback for me, the building does have a large step to go inside. That is a problem for a wheelchair user. If you visit downtown Lockport you already know there's many shops with steps. My mom was looking for some non-chocolate candy, so I reached out to the owners of Beanie’s, and they told me to come in, and they would help. While there, I FaceTimed my mom showing her all the different candy they had, and I was able to pick her up a ton! They have these coconut covered marshmallows that were to die for. I may have taken a few before I gave them to my mom. Shhh…don’t tell her. I highly recommend them for all your candy and sweets needs! You walk in and it gives you that old timey feel, at least for me. If you're looking for the penny candy or those hard to find candies from when you were younger(they do have a few throw backs though) then this is probably not the place you're looking for.
