I always wanted a decent leather vest for summer rides in a t-shirt to cooler weather in a sweatshirt. Had a cheap one for several years but it was very thin and I didnβt wear it too much because of that.
Found this place via google, and their website seemed to cater to the motorcycle rider. So we took a ride out (about an hour away). And all I can say is it was worth the trip.
Upon our arrival, owner Eddie and his wife were busy helping several customers in their shop. Definitely could tell by conversations I overheard, that THIS was the place for your leather riding needs. Not only did they have a good selection of leather riding gear, they also had many accessories such as sunglasses, patches, pins, extenders, etc. They also sew patches, add liners, and do repairs.
I tried on several vests, and narrowed it down to two sizes. I wasnβt sure what the βproperβ fit was supposed to be. As the shop slowly emptied with some customers, Eddie happily assisted us with the fitting based on my riding needs. He even sewed a patch on I brought from home, and a couple I purchased from his shop. He gave me some pointers and vest decorating etiquette for future knowledge as well.
The quality of the vest I purchased is much better than one bought from a motorcycle dealership. I had no issues whatsoever on the extended ride home in my new vest. Fit like a glove and was very comfortable to wear. Glad I finally purchased a βREALβ quality vest.
The experience at this shop was top notch in my book. This is definitely an old school leather shop that prides itself on quality and customer service. The store caters to wide range of riders, and you will feel comfortable there regardless of what you ride.
Thanks again Eddie for your help and we will...
Β Β Β Read moreAfter all the fuss and rumors Ive heard on where to get my leather and patch work done I had to check it out myself. I walked into Victory Leathers and was greated by Eddy and Ginger right away. I came in with some questions and curiousity and Eddy and Ginger were able to help with it all. They were knowlegable on everything I asked about and even taught me more then what I was looking to learn. I also brought with me my BJJ Gi to have some patches removed so I can put them on my new Gi and within 30 mins Eddy had them removed and taken care of. I left with a new vest today, my patches taken care of and a great expierence. I will always check in with Eddy and Ginger first when it comes to leather and patch work. Ps they have jewelery for men and women, other types of clothes aside from leather along with other essentials for bikers as well. This is a one stop shop,...
Β Β Β Read moreAfter receiving and returning multiple Amazon leather vests, I decided to drive 45 mins to Victory Leathers, to see and try vests on in person. Eddie definitely helped me out a lot. I found a vest I really liked for a very reasonable price. I also had patches to sew on, instead of getting it that same day and sewing through the liner, Eddie suggested I wait a couple days to do it right. He also said he would mail it free of charge. Any other place would not go through the hassle. I decided to wait and it was worth it! Not only did I receive my vest two days earlier than expected, but Eddie himself delivered it to my door. Eddie you're the man! I definitely recommend Victory Leathers. Well worth it, will...
