Food was delicious. Beer is really bad. Bar tenders couldn’t pour a decent beer to save their lives. Zero head on the beer. Tastes flat and metallic. What’s worse We got there at 6. Found it to have at least 12 empty tables. All which had reserved signs on them. We spent 90 at the bar waiting for a table where all of them had reservations for 7 pm. Which I’d say 1/4 of them never showed up for. The table behind us at the bar reserved two tables and used one of those tables to hold their jackets. I saw a few people walk out because there was no tables because everything was reserved. When we finally got a table it was right next to the patio door. Which every time the door open it became freezing cold. Once we got a table I went to close out my bar tab and come to find for a good period of time 3 of the servers and bartenders at the other end on their cellphones not paying attention to their jobs. I gave up and sat back down. Went here to also watch football but they didn’t have peacock so we were left watching something else. Our waitress at our table on the other hand was very good. Always attentive and was polite.
Until the reservations stop and the $3 a month peacock can go on a tv. Where if you have xfinity peacock is free from what I know. I won’t be coming back to visit. You would have more revenue if you ditched the reserved tables. People were walking out because they wanted to sit down and saw all those empty tables. It doesn’t make sense. The table behind us reserved two tables and used one of them as a coat rack while they crowded around the other table.
Update. We went on a Sunday got there around 630 and it was dead. We had a rather large part of 20 people. But keep in mind there was only maybe 8 people in the restaurant. The server did her best but when it came time to food it came out by group and not all at once. Kids were left wondering where is there food and they had to keep waiting while the other kids were eating already. Some of the food was colder because it must have been waiting. Beer here is extremely overpriced. I can’t see this place staying in business much longer with those prices. There was also a party above us that must have been doing a tap dance or something because it was constant pounding on the ceiling. Couldn’t hear the person next to you with...
Read moreWe ordered Thanksgiving Dinner from Embers with included a pre-cooked turkey. Instructions said to reheat for 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until warm thru and thru. I stuck a digital thermometer into the turkey breast to check its progress while heating it in the oven. After 1 hour and 15 minutes the turkey still was not 165 degrees. I pulled out the thermometer a bit so that it was only an inch into the breast and it read 180 degrees. I was worried that I would dry it out if I left it in the oven any longer. Internal temp though was only 145. I cut into the breast and the top was completely cooked but as I worked down the breastbone I found that the turkey was raw. I am not sure exactly what happened but I believe they tried to cook the turkey before it was completely thawed. I just cut off what I could that appeared to be cooked and put it in turkey broth in a pot on the stove to ensure that all of it reached 165 degrees. The raw portions went back into the oven for another 1.5 hours which all ended up in the garbage except for the wings. The sides were good and the family enjoyed them. I did have to go back to get the rolls that were suppose to have come with it. The Pumpkin pie did not look like pumpkin pie when we picked it up and the gentleman assured us it was pumpkin. I have never seen a pumpkin pie that had marshmallows and chocolate on top but we took his word. It wasn't pumpkin pie. It was good but it wasn't what we asked for and were assured that it was. (See pic) This was a complete fail. I didn't tell my wife about the turkey because I had enough cooked for the 3 of us. Someone dropped the ball when it came to cooking to thawing the turkey and then properly cooking the turkey. Management never contacted us and ended up blocking me on Facebook to remove my review...
Read moreWe went for New Years, and boy was that a mistake. We reserved a table for $200 since it was required with the amount of people we had, that $200 included a bottle of champagne and table service. We all got there at 9 and things were going smoothly even though we didn’t have a full table since the pole in our way cut out 2-3 people, so we were packed like sardines. Then an hour later at 10, the waitress says she has to close out all the tabs since the manager cut all the waitresses early. We only had table service for an hour, for $200?! We had to fight our way to the bar for the rest of the night and it took more than 30 minutes just to get one drink as only 3 bartenders were there serving over a hundred people. Those poor girls couldnt even catch a breath. What manager in their right mind decides to cut HALF of their staff on NEW YEARS with it so busy?! She said since technically they were losing money, they had to be cut. That was bs. We asked for a manager twice and of course they never came around. And to top it all off, they served us open champagne at 10, when our waitress left. So it was flat by the time we reached midnight. Our waitress was amazing until she left, and I feel bad for the managers letting them miss out on major tips only because the restaurant wouldn’t make money. Sounds like a bad, greedy business. If it wasn’t for our (1 hour) waitress, I would’ve had better service in my own home, unfortunately. And another thing….the $60-$70 drink package only lasted until midnight, so by the time that you were able to get drinks, you had to order double just so you didn’t have to spend the whole night at the bar. Not worth my money, and very...
