It takes a pretty bad experience to motivate me enough to leave a review.. and yet here we are. ;(
I placed my order online at this location around 7:30pm w/ a pick-up time of 8:15; I picked this location because the one closest to me was closing at 8, and, having worked food service, I can't in good conscious go somewhere within an hour of closing, but I digress. This location was closing at 10pm according to the Subway website (as well as according to their "UPDATED Hours" sign hanging on the door), so I didn't think it'd be much of a problem. I arrive around 8:15 to a restaurant that's completely dark: the lobby lights are off, the "Open" signs were off, there was only one employee visible.. I for sure thought they were closed. "Maybe they closed at the same time as the other location, but the website is wrong" was my line of thought until I saw another customer walk in. I walk in, ready to get my food and go, but no - she's just starting my order, and she's the only one working.. at 8:15.. on a Friday night, 1 and 1/2+ hours til close, so I had to wait a fun 10 minutes in a dark "restaurant" for my 3 subs. I ordered meatball subs and had to watch her microwave the meatballs after they were taken off the line. Appetizing. I appreciate they changed they Subway logo from "Eat Fresh" because I have a microwave at home too and 9/10 times it's not used to make anything fresh lmao. My other sub had issues too - it was supposed to be toasted, but that was forgotten(?) too - maybe there was a power issue affecting only half the store? What a disaster; won't be going back...
Read moreI got the steak and cheese 6". Sadly i had to wipe off the extreme amount of chipotle sauce and wasn't able to enjoy much of my meal thanks to the extra heat in my mouth, but i was hungry and the line was looking enough that I'd have never gotten to eat if I attempted to exchange it... Then to make things worse... There was only about half of my original amount of steak there because when it was placed on the paper to be separately warmed up (per my request) the young lady left a child sized handful of that delicious steak inn the wrapper and threw it in the garbage. I said "Well there goes half of my meat". she then pulled the steak filled wrapper or of the garbage and looked at it contemplating wether or not I wanted her to dump it in my sandwich.... I immediately said please don't. And that's when she asked what I wanted on it. I stated chipotle... Well I'm sure she squoze for at least 5 seconds... The rest off the toppings went well.
I was a sandwich artist in high school... That young lady is nothing close to an artist, she's more like a child that usually finger paints with soup and chili.
Please ensure that your staff are adequately trained prior to serving customers. And more importantly... make sure that your staff actually care about serving the public because if they don't care about anything but the paycheck, you may end up with a west Jordan 7-11...
Read moreI don't know if this was a combined fail, or just subway has just this level of terrible.
We ordered 4 sandwiches- 2 were supposed to be toasted (that weren't) even cold and gross because the deliverer didn't knock or ring rhe door bell. Glad there was a total of an extra $11 for that wasted service.
We got 2 of the new cheesteak sandwiches and it was more of a mushy gross mess. Ingredients were missing, there was supposed to be "extra" on some of the veggies - nope, if they were there. I've never had such a bad experience at a subway. Maybe it's this location? Either way, it was bad enough I will never order from here again. I've been sick and my husband sprang his ankle and we thought this would be a good plan. At least we know where to not waste our...
