This place…shouldn’t even be named McAlister’s. Where do I start? Been here only twice. Both times food literally took FOREVER to be made and they weren’t even busy! Second time, only 2 other people in the restaurant. I place an order for a half turkey melt and cup of chicken tortilla (because they were out of broccoli cheddar and potato). Was standing there 30 minutes, while a couple of people came in and got their food before I did. Finally said something to the lady who took my order and they acted like they didn’t even know what was going on. Had to look at my receipt and everything when she literally only took 2 orders before mine. Come to find out, they weren’t even making my order. No one had any idea what was going on. I’d had it at this point and asked for my money back. No one knew how to do this except the manager. The manager went to the drive thru cash register staring at me, gave me a refund, and didn’t even bother speaking to me or asking me any questions. Just proceeded to go back to the back. While that happened there was also a noticeable “sketchy” customer that was standing there and literally turn the mints jar upside down and emptied all the mints and put them in his pocket. This happened right in front of the manager and the counter employees and no one batted an eye. This place is terrible. It’s not going to last in this small town of Logansport. Go to Kokomo or Lafayette if you want some McAlister’s. Don’t waste...
Read moreI am not sure where to start. This was our first time here and did not have a very good experience. First, we placed our order at 7:39. It took about 25 minutes to get our food. Right away I noticed there were onions on my sandwich. I had ordered no onions. I took it back to the counter and waited while 3 or 4 people were facing the other way. Finally I was helped. Explained I ordered my sandwich with no onions. The girl took my plate and within 20 secs brought it back. I asked if it had been remade and she said yes. Of course the sandwich had not and they had not taken all of onion off. My husband got the Angus potato. There was no more than a tablespoon of meat on it. We spent almost $30. Tried to get a refund and none of the codes would work. I was also told she will only refund my sandwich. And our plates had potatoes smashed on the bottom. They are obviously plating on a dirty surface. Also saw a black shirted guy making sandwiches while checking his phone. That's a one and done for me. Do better or you won't be there long. I have worked at a McAllister and I know this is not normal. I was supposed to get a call about my refund. I will be returning to check on my refund and sending emails and reviews until I get results. This was a Saturday. Standing at the counter with a plate of food means I need service. Face your customers. We are the reason...

Our order was incorrect along with two other families. One entire entree was omitted from our order. Out of avocados...a staple in some of the sandwiches. Manager sitting on his phone at the back desk. Order takers clueless about the unavailability of the avocados.
Plenty of help. People standing around at the back assembly stations.
One young man on the frontline was trying to manage everyone with their messed up orders and issues while three other ladies at the front stood around. The additional manager/shift leader that wasn't on her phone was just wandering around from front to back but not helping the young gentleman at all.
Store is too small and very crowded to navigate for someone with a walker or even worse a wheelchair.
Second time at the store with not great service. My misfortune with the service is apparently not isolated from what others have shared with me. A new competitor will be opening soon. Hopefully you can get things figured out or your business may not survive and that is unfortunate as many locals have waited for your arrival. For now, I will continue my...
