Rising Donuts — Restaurant in Loganville

Rising Donuts sell some of the most fantastic, delicious donuts in the state of Georgia! Lol. In my own humbled opinion their donuts taste better than KRISPY Kreme’s. I simply adore their amazing OREO DONUTS… Yummy, Yum. They are So, So, So soft and flavorful! But I must tell you, the Oreo’s go very fast, and sometime if there any of those soft fluffy donuts left, they will go in the back and make you some of the Oreo donuts. But that’s ONLY if there some left… so, what I do, is call the day before and simply place an order for pickup for tomorrow. Best thing their staff could have taught me!! Now, I don’t have to get all angry and upset because there are no more OREO Donuts left at Rising Donuts!! I just make that one call, and my order is ready and waiting for me with my name on the box! Oh, and please let me give kudo’s to the delicious, magnificent Twist Glazed Donuts, my daughter and husband goes silly over these, and I must say… they truly are amazing!! I have been a customer of rising Donut since they opened up shop back 2015, even through their difficulties, closings and reopening I have always supported my favorite small business local donut shop, even when I moved way out of town, I still visited Rising Donut any chance I got. When my husband and I moved closer to town again we have made it a tradition to visit Rising Donut nearly every Sunday. Not only are their Donuts made in house, day after day, without heavy chemicals like you’ll get in a mass produced Donut like Dunkin’ and Krispy Cream, their crescents are made from scratch in house and their bagels are made by a small business bakery. Do not allow the lies of bad reviews sway you from visiting this fabulous establishment, this place is filled with love, community passion and bakers who truly love their customers, community and what they do. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This place is our go-to Friday treat and has never disappointed. We’ve tried a few other spots, but nothing compares to the freshness, speed, and flavor these folks deliver—literally (we always order through DoorDash, and it still arrives warm and perfect).

Favorites? Easy: the breakfast sandwich (SO good), the strawberry shortcake donut, and honestly, just about everything else. We even went to Portland last week and tried the “famous” Voodoo Donuts… and nope, didn’t hold a candle to our local gem.

On top of the food being amazing, the people are just as sweet as the donuts. One time they were out of an item, so they called to check what we’d like instead—then threw in a whole dozen donut holes just to make up for it.
