Noodles Pho U — Restaurant in Lombard

Noodles Pho U in Lombard has good food but absolutely abysmal customer service.

I found Noodles Pho U while searching for good chinese food last September and have been happy with them up to this point -- from September 27 to December 2, I've placed a total of 10 orders with a total value of $484.80 -- not including tax, delivery charges, or tips. With that kind of order history, in most cases I'd expect to be treated like a valued customer! Instead, half an hour after the expected delivery time from the order I placed online yesterday, I called the restaurant to ask for an update on the delivery time. After being on hold for a couple of minutes, someone -- I assume it was the manager -- came on the line and told me that my address is outside their delivery zone and therefore he had cancelled the order.

I was offered no explanation for why the delivery address had been acceptable on nine previous occasions over the past couple of months, but was suddenly not; nor was I offered any explanation for why, after placing so many orders, they couldn't even manage the courtesy of CALLING to tell me that my order was cancelled. All I was told was that I "should have received" a notification of the cancellation from their online order provider, but in fact no such email had ever been sent.

Seriously, Noodles Pho U. Have some respect for your clientele. If you're going to arbitrarily cancel the tenth order being placed by one of your customers, have the courtesy to make sure they are AWARE that you're no longer going...

I really wanted to come to Noodle Pho U because the food is really good and I was in the area. First time experience was Amazing! Today Sept 14, 2021, Tuesday I arrived and Sat at the Table next to the Entry way towards the Restroom. The table was a bit sticky and there were a few small Ants walking on the table which I killed. I politely asked the server (Krist) to wipe the table for us. And before she wiped the table she proceeded to explain the tables are always sticky no matter how much you clean them and she already sanitized the table. Me thinking to myself "if a customer asks you to rewipe a table to just do it" It's not even busy. Just got a bit annoyed. Today I ordered the Japanese Salt & Pepper Tofu. (When I ordered the Server asked if I want white or fried rice) I told her I don't want rice. She again told me it comes with it. "I told her to not bring it because I'm not going to eat it. Why waste it?" I also ordered the Vietnamese Crepe (Bahn Xeo) it wasn't good today at all. $12.95 for hardly anything inside the Crepe. 4 pieces of small shrimp and some pieces of pork belly followed by alot of bean sprouts. The pork belly didn't taste fresh today. Usually they give you basil and mint to accommodate it. But didn't get any today. Maybe they changed cooks I don't know. Don't know if I will come out of my way to come back here and I told so many people about this place.. Very disappointing. Also, the server gave us our food but never came back to check on us. She's just standing by the computer...

This place is awesome because it has been the first time i eat pho that is spicy. There's a significant large amount of drink options which includes built your own drink!. Choose from sprite or ginger ale then fresh chopped fruit and finally an add on like jelly or bubble ball. This has been the best Pho place ive been too so far when pho is one of my favorite foods to eat. The staff service was exellent! As soon as i walked in i was seated no wait time and the tap water delivered in a glass bottle for us to serve when we needed. The food didnt take too long to be served and everything was delicious. As we ate a friendly staff came to our table to ask if everything had been served as we requested it. which i thought was a great thing of him to do. He didnt ask if we needed something but instead was worried if we got our food like we had ordered it. I didnt get all the add ons on my drink and took the time to let him know at that time which he fixed right away. The experience was overall exellent even better than some upscale places i've been too. If you like vietnamese food or want to try it this is simply the perfect place to go. i highly recommend it to everyone really...
