If you’re looking to ruin your evening with a terrible dining experience, Niwala is the place to go. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is uninviting, and the decor feels like an afterthought. The overwhelming smell of stale food only adds to the initial disappointment.

The service at Niwala is atrocious. The staff are inattentive, unfriendly, and seem to be more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to customers. Be prepared for long waits, only to be served with an attitude that suggests you’re inconveniencing them by being there.

☕ Cold Coffee: Smooth, rich, and refreshing — this cold coffee is the perfect balance between sweetness and strong brew. It’s not overloaded with sugar like most places. You can actually taste the coffee, and it pairs amazingly well with their spicy food.

🥭 Mango Malai Boti: This one was a game-changer. The boti was incredibly tender, and the mango malai marinade brought a perfect blend of creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet flavors. It’s a fusion twist that actually works — bold yet balanced. Easily one of my favorite grilled items now.
