Walking into Qamaria is like stepping into a warm, fragrant retreat. The decor strikes a perfect balance, modern, clean lines softened by beautiful Arabic art touches, cushy seating, and even a little prayer area that adds to the feeling of calm and welcome. It feels like the kind of place you could linger for hours. The menu is a revelation. If you love craft coffee and want something different, this is the spot. I tried the Iced Pistachio Latte, creamy, nutty, and smooth — one of the best versions I’ve had. The signature Qamaria Latte, with its espresso, steamed milk, cardamom, and cinnamon combo, is cozy and comforting. The traditional Yemeni drinks are especially noteworthy: Adeni Chai offers bold, spiced flavor; Mufawaar, Marib, Sana’a, Juban, each is distinct, aromatic, deep, and made with real care. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, the pastries and cakes do not disappoint. Items like the Honeycomb Bread, Almond Pudding (Keskul), and the various tres leches cakes hit the right notes — not overly sweet, with good texture, and excellent pairings with tea or coffee. Service is friendly and attentive. The staff seem genuinely happy to guide you through the menu and offer suggestions. The pace is decent (not rushed), which helps everything feel more relaxing. If I were to nitpick: during busy times it can get loud, and some items are priced above what you’d pay at a chain — but you’re getting quality, authenticity, and a unique experience, so it feels worth it. Overall, this place is a gem. Whether you’re wanting something exotic (go for a traditional brew), indulgent (tres leches cake + signature latte), or just peaceful space to enjoy a drink,...

Added back a couple stars due to the managers swift response and personal call to apologize. I really appreciate when a business can take ownership.

I actually really liked this place - loved the pistachio tres leches cake and the lattes. But I had a really uncomfortable experience here last time with the guy behind the counter and I probably won’t be going back. I placed my order online at 2:47, and it gave me a 15-20 min window for my order to be ready. It takes be about that long to drive here, so that works out.
I arrived at 3:08 (hit a little construction), and the guy immediately goes “You’re late,” and proceeds to tell me how I could have called to let them know. I’m sorry but huh?? This is a coffee shop not work. Also, I wasn’t running hours late…seems weird for a coffee pick up.
Then I go to put the bag around my wrist (had gotten desserts) and he goes “Do you need something?” And I’m like no…I’m just putting the bag around my hand so I can carry it.
Not sure if this person was just awkward, because ever other time I’ve been here has been fine, but I left feeling really off put into coming back....
Read moreWe tried this for the first time today and really enjoyed it. Out of all the new cafes in the area, this was the first barista who greeted us. So a huge win. He called me by my first name and even asked if we liked the coffee. Keep up the great customer service my friend! On top of that, the place was very cozy and clean! Even the bathrooms are very updated and clean; another big win. The other cafes don't keep up with cleanliness. We got the pistachio lattes and the chicken pastry. All were very delicious. The only downside is that they don't have a "decaf" latte. I'm sensitive to caffeine, but I love the experience. It was slightly on the colder side as well. The temp outside was like 80 and the thermostat was set to under 70.. so I would adjust it to 73 or 74... My wife and I were a bit chilly so we decided to go home early. Besides that, I have no complaints. Food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness were all on point. I would suggest to add a decaf option, and almond croissant and egg puff. Way to go. I highly recommend it! We'll be back and I'll communicate to the barista about the thermostat next time, (I think it can...
