Located in a busy strip center ,Teriyaki Madness does not disappoint. They combine Fast Casual and Asian foods that are fresh and flavorful. We were greeted by a friendly staff who explained the various bowls available that are made fresh once you order. The owners brought the food out to our table and were more than helpful. We started with the chicken pot stickers that were lightly fried but not greasy with a mixture of chicken and veggies served with house made gyoza sauce. We also had the crab Rangoon which was a mixture of creme cheese and crab wrapped in a Winton served with a sweet and sour sauce. They were fantastic! They offer a variety of bowls where you choose a protein..mostly chicken or beef along with white rice, brown rice or noodles and streamed stir fried veggies. They also offer a salmon bowl and tofu bowl. Many gluten free options! I had one of their new bowls..Spicy Orange Chicken with their house made Spicey Sweet Sauce. The bowls are huge! I added some of their homemade Teriyaki sauce as I didn't taste a lot of Orange flavor. This is the only bowl that is not made fresh as the chicken is breaded so they have to deep fry it versus their fresh grilled chicken. Next time I might go with the grilled chicken. If you are looking for delicious food that's healthy,Teriyaki Madness is the place.

If you’re craving Teriyaki but don’t want all the formalities, Teriyaki Madness in Lombard is the place to go! One thing I like about this place is that your teriyaki entree is made fresh to order and brought to your table. It’s nicely packaged in a deep dish bowl and piping hot off the grill. I ordered the steak with noodles which was generously portioned. It comes with fresh wok’d cabbage too. The flavors were very true to teriyaki and the noodles were well seasoned but not overly flavored. The cabbage had a nice crunch that lended nicely to the soft meat and noodles. There are many other options to your bowl like brown rice vs white rice or all veggies. They offer halal meat as well. They also served crab Rangoon and pot stickers. The meal was nice in a relaxed vibe setting. Nice place to grab lunch or dinner when in the area! The establishment is very clean and the beverage station has numerous flavors and brands for you to choose. Service was fast and friendly! Thanks to Nik the owner for a great meal and experience!

We dined in for dinner on a Saturday night. The wait time for close to 40 minutes for 2 orders. The chicken Katsu and teriyaki salmon was so over cooked that we felt they died twice. They were dry and very chewy to eat. The teriyaki chicken was almost overcooked but was ok to eat when compared to the other proteins. The veggies that came with them felt off too. Was soggy and might have been frozen ones. The fried rice was also mushy to eat plus the seasoning was weird too. Our toddler who loves fried rice for the very first time said no for this after a few bites. The teriyaki sauce was too sweet. This comes from someone who has eaten a lot of Japanese cuisine. The teriyaki sauce should have a mild spice kick and umami. This one had a flat sweet taste. Overall not a positive experience.

I like the set up and the interior design. The customer service was fine. The food however was mediocre for me. The flavors were not bad, however it reminded me of Panda Express. Nothing wrong with panda, but just not really quality in my opinion. About half way through, I was done with it. I didn't feel I could take it home and eat it again, and I usually always box foods I can't finish. So far, nothing compares panda express's orange chicken. I can see why people like it, but it's just not for me. The teriyaki sauce and steamed veggies was about the best part of the meal. I'd recommend people to at least try it for themselves. Don't take my word for it.

Reply to owner: I appreciate the owner striving to be better and listening to the customers. I think it's really just personal preference for me. I eat Asian food everyday, so I'm a bit set in my ways and know the type of Asian food textures I like. I prefer fried noodles to be more like the Lo-Mein style noodles. The noodles I ate had similar texture to fried ramen noodles which I'm not a big fan of (although I know many other people like it that way). Furthermore, since we were some of the last customers of the night, I'm not sure if the we got the freshest orange chicken. I expected a nice crunch on the outside and a soft texture on the inside, instead, it seemed slightly stale and chewy for me. I may try again during the lunch hour to see if there are any differences. The flavors were right on the money. The teriyaki sauce, the orange flavors and steamed veggies were the winners in my book. The employees were also very friendly. I know that many people like your...

I live in the area and have been to this location about 3 times now. I enjoy the food and think it's great, but this last experience was terrible and I don't want to return after it. I placed an online order and my order said it would be ready in 13 minutes (at 6:50 PM). I got there around that time and my order wasn't ready, they told me it would be a few minutes. The person in front even asked to see my online receipt so I showed her and she had my name and my order. While I'm waiting, I see other people order ahead of me and get their food within a matter of minutes. There are other people sitting at tables that have been waiting since I got there but they still get their food ahead of me, the online orderer. 7:10 PM comes around (20 minutes after the commitment time) so I go back and ask about my order. Turns out it was sitting in the behind the counter and not at the designated pick up areas on shelves to the right of the restaurant where patrons can see their food. They had my name, order, and saw me sitting there and the response from the person in front was "I forgot." Train your front of house staff better or work on the backend times for online orders so the time is right. Better customer service could have been shown and the person in front could have also called out names on orders as they were coming out. Don't put your food where walk in guests/online orders can't see and waste...
