Eat Fantastic — Restaurant in Lomita

Summary: Massive burgers. Quality ingredients. Reasonable prices. Fries are big too, but a bit pricey. Plenty of parking. Four beers on tap (mostly pale ales). Salty and tasty.

After passing by the BCG several times since it arrived, my wife and I finally opted to give it a shot and get our order to go. When I arrived, the restaurant was decently filled with happy looking people chowing down on burgers and fries. I got in line and put in our order. About 15 minutes later the food was ready to go, so I took it home and we enjoyed.

We got the Cali with bleu cheese and the Holy Moly with pepper jack, as well as the Poutine fries and BCG fries with ranch dressing. Both burgers were juicy, big, tasty, filling, and had a great variety of flavors and textures. The bleu cheese on the Cali was probably a little too much salt flavor, though, so I would recommend a milder cheese with that burger. Both fries were massive and well cooked. The poutine fries needed more gravy, but the curds were delicious. The BCG fries were awesome with American cheese. Nice and melty and tasty with the bits of bacon and grilled onions. April 11th, 2023 7:30pm I have bn coming here since it was Burger City Grill now EAT Fantastic and today was the worst experience that i had with the Woman behind the counter as i waited in kline after a gentleman before me i walked up to order and she took a delivery pickup lady that walked in afterwards and attended her first. Grant it it was a pick up order and when i told the lady behind the register she told me shenhad a pick up and i said i was here first and she then tells me WHY DIDNT I TELL THE LADY WHY AM I TELLING HER the employee? I told her she didnt bother to ask knowing i was there first she saw me cause i saw her she then asks me what i wanted and i proceeded to order my 2 shakes and she looks at me with a sarcastic look and says THATS IT THATS ALL U WANT? By then she already had me even more mad with the attitude and i decided not to order and told her she had a Nasty attitude and she says HAVE A NICE DAY as if she did nothing wrong was not even apologetic at all but her sarcastic attitude was the topper on the cake. She was the only olderfemale up front at the counter while the younger female was in the kitchen with a guy. Very Poor customer service and very ignorant as well. BRING YOUR GLASSES! Today i realized that I've become one of those people who accidentally takes pictures of the ground. I guess this is a sign of aging.

One thing no one tells you about this place is that (1) it has rebranded from "Burger City Grill" to "Eat Fantastic" due to their new breakfast items; (2) the burgers have changed names from the website! The Santa Monica is now called the Fantastic Burger; (3) the menu is in VERY SMALL font, so bring your glasses! Or maybe i'm just wearing my contacts with no astigmatism correction; (4) the decor inside is pretty nice! Some might even call it retro, if they're not sure what retro means! (5) the floor is very clean! It's not sticky like some restaurants I've been to around the area. They keep it tidy so there's probably no rats in the kitchen (but who knows ai biết whatever) (6) they have cookies! Not the internet ones, but chocolate chip cookies! But also I'm not sure I didnt see them but i saw it on the window. So yeah these are five things that no one tells you. Also back to the glasses thing, i didn't see any paper menus for the near sighted folks.
