I come here at least once a week. Last Friday, me and my friend came and ordered our usual, same as always. We were literally the only table that the servers did not check in with. We were confused as to why? Not even being offered a refill during the hour we were there. We proceed to pay at the register since we had not been given a bill. The poor excuse of an owner told us to sit and he would bring the check. We told him we had been waiting long and instead of simply saying something like “sorry about that” he replied, “30 min? Really?” then proceeded to slam the check on the counter. He then said, “if you needed the check you could have flagged down one of the servers”. Again, we are here often and never have to do that. Still confused as to why we were the only table not being checked in with. All we were expecting from a restaurant “OWNER” was a simple apology. Instead, we received attitude and arrogance. It was not even a big deal, we were more confused than annoyed until we realized the kind of person we were dealing with. Since I’m here, I should mention the fact that the cooks don’t wear any gloves and the “restaurant” has had a grade of a “B” for as long as I can remember. All over social media, people degrade this place and I never understood why until my last and final visit Friday. The owner has claimed to “value” his customers but becomes infuriated with an honest review and calls the guest “pathetic”. So professional! Rather than trying to help the issue, the customer receives back lash? What a man!...

IMO, best sushi in the South Bay. For the exceptional quality of fish and customer service, the price is more than fair. I would definitely say that the customer is getting the better end of the deal. Comfortable and cozy, a great place for a date or lunch with friends. Service is always quick and I can usually grab a quick but great lunch. Normally I'm in and out within 35 minutes for lunch. This place is so good that I almost don't want to write this so it doesn't become too crowded, but I'm going to keep going anyway!

I'm not well versed on the Japanese terminology, but the sushi that is just rice and fish is by far the best I've had in the South Bay. The quality of their salmon sushi is exceptional. It is well marbled and almost buttery to the taste. The texture of the rice that they use is perfect, just enough of a bite to add texture but not overbearing or dry.

Their sushi rolls are also wonderful. My favorite is the Harley Davidson roll, which is a wonderfully tempura fried roll that has salmon and cream cheese in it, with other delicious things inside and out to add to the rich creaminess. Sounds a bit odd on paper, but it is a very unique and savory roll.
