FOR EXAMPLE... I received a ceramic, short mug/tumbler for Christmas and the lid doesn't seat deeply and firmly. I can pull it off with a light flick of my fingernail. I contacted support who said that, since it had the barcode label on the bottom, I didnt need a receipt, and to take it to a store.
I went to the Ocean Ave store in Lompoc where the employee at the counter inserted the lid as best she could, turned it upside down, and the lid stuck! But with liquid behind it, it would not! I'm NOT chancing hot coffee falling in my face!!
She showed it to the manager who said.. are you ready? "That's how the designers made it."
They also wouldn't do anything for me, regardless, because I didn't have a receipt!
Leaving, I picked one up off their shelf, pushed the lid in, and it seated well, as it should - firmly! I set it on the counter, told the employee to check that one, and I left.
I emailed support who apologized, credited my card which was also a gift, so I can go to a DIFFERENT store and buy something for someone who doesn't mind paying exorbitant prices for a cup of coffee that can be made at home for fifty cents. Oh yeah, I do like their frozen Mocha Frappuccino and can't make those at home.
Parking is RIDICULOUS with drive-through vehicles trailing out into the street, blocking traffic on that highway, causing cars to change lanes to get by them. VERY poor planning. The City or California Highway Patrol should ticket them before someone rearends a car and injures someone! It used to be a coffee shop where people parked. Now it's hard to park due to the drive through vehicles blocking all of the spaces. I had parked but then couldn't get out until the line moved and a nice person didn't move in to block me.
The other store's drive-through line goes well into the shopping center parking lot, also blocking aisles, frustrating us as we're stuck until they move.
If only Star*ucks cared.. but obviously, they do not.

Read moreI am in a wheelchair so I waited for someone to come and ask for my order well I thought maybe it is because they couldn't see me I ordered my drink and a berry trio which is in the cooler to the right and not very accessible for a person in a wheelchair the barrista saw me struggling to reach it and just stood there. Once my drink was made they did not call out my name so my drink sat there till I noticed it I kept saying excuse me so I to get someone's attention finally a young very nice girl named Riley brought me my drink apologized. The whole time 2 managers were talking away in the corner. You think I would learn I have been here in total 4 times since it opened and it has very bad service and drinks. The last visit it was drive through I had ordered 2 drinks I said I have arthritis give me 1 drink at a time please the barista said is there a problem over the lady handing my drinks I said no I can only grab 1 at a time why he said well your taking to long i was so mad haven't been...
Read moreNot especially quick for dine in customers but they have lots going on with the drive thru and the mobile orders. I ordered a tall Veranda and the bacon and gruyere egg bites. The girl working the oven was working very quickly but the after about 15 minutes I asked for the status and was told she was just putting them in. She was working really hard so I don't blame her. Some larger system process is slowing her down. I love the tables and the layout. If I needed to study or work on business it would be a perfect place, though there are not a lot of outlets and this location doesn't appear to have the mobile charging stations. All-in-all took about 20 minutes to get in and...
