Subway — Restaurant in Lompoc

Great sandwiches and I frequent both this restaurant, and more often, the one on Upper H St., which I prefer. My favorite is the roast chicken which is currently$5 for a footlong. While I usually get the meal deal, that means my bill is around $10.50, including avocado. Not cheap -- in fact more than any other fast food place, but a meal is actually 3 meals for me. Kudos for lots of veggies, and I thank you for your flavored water in addition to soda -- a real improvement for those who have osteoporosis and shouldn't drink soda. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the bad parking (there is a handicapped space, but it's a walk for me and my disabled friend) and poor seating. How does subway "eat fresh" run out of spinach? I hope there is a hand washing station in the back. When we arrived our sandwich maker was emptying the trash, went to the back office with the garbage and popped out and put on food handler gloves. During the making of our 3 sandwiches (no spinach), she made a sweeping motion toward the left side of her head with her left hand as she was making our order. The 1st time she did it I wasn't sure if my eyes deceived me, however the 2nd time I called her out. She denied it and asked me if I wanted her to change gloves. I came a couple minutes ago, I was on a hurry and tried to call the store before to just pick up my order and they didn’t answer, I went to the store and there was only 2 people in front of me and it took them 20 min to help them with less than 3 sandwiches. The employee that helped me didn’t follow directions, he seemed like he didn’t understood English, one of my sandwiches was ruined because he would put the things I said on both sandwiches, when I tried to tell him I didn’t want the sauces on the other sandwich he would put more.
