Chips and Salsa: The chips were flavorless and stale. The salsa was underseasoned, and when we asked if it was mild or spicy, we were told mild, but my boyfriend (who loves spicy food) thought it was a bit spicy and neither of us liked it Drinks: We both got water, I got mine with lemon. The lemon was bad, and the water tasted terrible, it tasted dirty, as if the filter had not been cleaned in years. The ice was cloudy white when in my experience, ice SHOULD be clear. Food: Me and my boyfriend decided to share a steak fajita with extra tortillas. Every Mexican restraunt we have ever been to gives 3 tortillas. Here we were given two that were soggy and as small as my boyfriend's hand. Personally, that is not nearly enough to finish a plate of fajitas. The rice that came with it was disgusting and rubbery. The steak (if it can even be called that) was gelatinous and fatty with zero flavor or texture. The peppers and onions were well seasoned, but very overcooked. Everything on the fajitas had the texture of chewy baby food. The Lettuce was watery and slimy. The only props I'll give is that the refried beans were amazing. Staff: The staff were fine, except our server, we asked for refills on water (as my boyfriend drinks alot) and we never received it until I went up to the front counter twice. We had also asked for an extra plate in which I had to re-ask for said plate three times before getting a dirty plate. If I could give this place a zero star,...
Read moreIf you are going just for food …it’s great . BEWARE ordering a Margarita . I asked for a small reg margarita …like I order at EVERY Mexican food place we go to . I usually get 2 . Well …I knew as it was coming to the table I was in trouble and better find out the price …. It came on a wooden board , lit up with sparklers , 4 different spears of oranges & watermelon & kiddie marshmallows , marshmallow ice cream cones and a rubber jeep duck . Big fancy glass , plum full of ice . 5 sips through the straw and the margarita was gone . It was $12 . The waiter said they were about $8 but it was $12 on the bill . The actual margarita was good , but couldn’t even tell I had a drink ….it was mostly mix ….would’ve had to drink 3 more Obviously at $12 each ….i only had the one ….I’m not paying $12 for a presentation gimmick that was a total waste . If you like all that festive stuff you’ll love it …that should be some sort of special thing but ..they should offer plain regular margaritas for way less money . Also When you order ice water , they bring you a small bottled water and a glass of ice and you are charged for each one you order . Like I said , food is great . Salsa on point ! Atmosphere great ….But beware if your drinking. A Quesadilla , a steak burrito , 2 waters & a margarita was...
Read moreGot there around 530. Maybe 5 tables. Took the waiter 20 minutes to take our order. The hostess had to get our drinks, another waitress had to remind pur waiter he had a table 3 times. I had to remind our waiter twice to bring our cheese dip. It took them 30 more minutes to get our food out which wad cold by the time we received it. I ordered fajitas (which at any other place are supposed to sizzle).. mine were cold. My husband got the special dinner, his were so cold they made him sick. And our daughter got two tacos which barely had anything even in them. We are always big tippers, but the fact we had to wait for drinks for so long, never got refills even once, and had to constantly beg for food or even service, we for the first time in our life refused to tip. It was horrible. This was our first and last time ever trying this place. We were so hungry and wanted to celebrate my promotion but we clearly chose the wrong place. I will say this, the cheese dip once we finally received it was good. But.. we received it AFTER our food, even though I asked the hostess, and waiter for it several times. We were not rude once and even thought about just walking out. I was so disappointed. I just personally cannot understand why it was so bad and not even busy. I was so and am still so...
