Waffle House — Restaurant in London

The employees were at the counter fussing because some one had walked out we sat for about 15 to 20 minutes before we were approached by anyone we got ready to leave and our waitress was no where around so one of the other waitress told a gentleman to check us out at first I did think he was going to said something about getting into someone else drawer or something I am hard of hearing and they were talking loud enough to I could hear them he asked for my check receipt I told him we had never gotten it. He went to the back the waitress came out carrying a phone said she had problems at home she was having to take care of and went back he ran my card my cousin what was with me said that is to much I did not here what he said. I asked if twenty seven dollars wasn't a little too much for two orders of hash browns and two diet Cokes so he laid my card down and went to the back again this time another male stuck his head out and told one of the other waitress to take care of us because the male taking our money didn't know how to do a refund on my debit card. Which the waitress do then put in the correct amount of ten dollars she said that waffles sausage had been added to my ticket. But she had taken them off we were there an extra 10 minutes trying to get the bill straightened out. I can say that is only the second time in my life I did not...

Unit#1458 76 Austin Lane, London KY Date of visit: 06/18/2024 Easily visible with easy access. Plenty of parking. Greeted upon entry. Sat at the counter. Plenty of tables open, most for two. There are 3 booths available for 4 or less. Larger groups would have to split up or spread out at counter. There were 5 ladies working and they were a well oiled and efficient machine. Watching them work was a study in succcessful team work. They genuinely seemed to like working together!! We got table settings, water and coffee quickly. Orders were taken and our food arrived shortly. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. (In another Waffle House review I found the food to taste of cooking grease, so I was leary here. Not the case to worry). My eggs were over easy to perfection, bacon tasted like bacon (not cooking grease), waffle with Blueberry nougat topped with chocolate chips was a nice combo, and the hashbrowns were perfect. Food for other members in my party was of equal caliber. The ladies working were attentive, friendly, and polite. Bathroom was clean. I highly recommend stopping at this Waffle House for a meal. This waffle house sucked, there floors and tables were very dirty, we had to wait 10 minutes before our waitress even came to wipe the table down. The food was very nasty my hashbrowns wasnt even done, i got them all the way and our waitress Rhonda didn't put my gravy on my hashbrowns, my husband ordered hashbrowns to with chilli and the waitress didn't even have chilli on it like he ordered, he ordered a deluxe burger and it was so dry, he had a heart burn before he even got done eating. There gravy is very nasty it taste really bad and I ordered an fiesta omelet and it looked.like a bunch of eggs scrambled together. One of the waitress that had just came in she was taking the trash out and empty one of the trash cans right there beside us that's very nasty, she should have waited until we were gone to empty it. I think this waffle house should be shut down labor board needs to go after them. I will not come back here having a picnic in a park is better then going here to eat and I've seen gas stations cleaner...
