Got the family meal deal: large pizza, small bread sticks, and cinnamon sticks for $26.99.
I live 35 minutes away and only get pizza from here if I am nearby. My husband and I grew up with this pizza. I was really excited to bring it home and surprise him.
The service was great. The employees there were so nice. Very clean inside.
The pizza looked amazing, but it was not. It was barely cooked and like mush. Cheese on one piece, we could see the cheese pieces because it hadn't been cooked all the way. I had to spit out my first bite. My husband powered through 3-4 bites and gave up. We were so disappointed. The grease was so disgusting. It just sits on top and marinates the pizza. I had to take a paper towel to it and I gave up due to it being so greasy.
Bread sticks were over cooked (the one item I didn't look at!). They did not taste good. And we got one sauce, which is ridiculous, for $11.98. The pizza sauce tasted sour to me. Personal opinion - I didn't like the sauce at all. Husband said it was "okay."
Cinnamon sticks were amazing! Wish they gave you 2 frosting cups but I can't complain because they were excellent.
I, personally, would not recommend this store for pizza or bread sticks. Not worth the money. It such a let down because their pizza used to...
Read moreLast night I placed an order online for takeout, and on the way to pick it up, an incident happened that left me quite shaken up, which delayed my arrival by over an hour. I knew they were getting ready to close by that point, so before I got there I called the store to explain to my situation. Josh P answered the phone, and as I was speaking to him explaining my situation and apologizing, he was so incredibly kind and reassuring. He told me there was no need to apologize, and to take my time, my food was in the warmer and ready for me. When I arrived at the store, Candice (I believe she was the manager) was so warm and kind and asked me if I was okay. Her, along with Josh P and Trish were all so sincere and showed such genuine concern, it brought tears to my eyes. I was then told by the manager that I could pick out a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream out of the freezer, and that it was on them. I just want to say thank you to all of these lovely employees for showing me such compassion and kindness. I was having such a terrible night, and they truly went above and beyond to make me feel better. An experience I will never forget! Thank you so much Candice, Josh, and Trish. You are all total rock stars and I appreciate you more...
Read moreOkay so I'm not the one to usually post a review, but we ordered a small delivery order from Papa Ginos in Londonderry. We placed the order at 8:34 PM. I asked the newer papa Ginos employee 3 different times if delivery was still available. He assured me that yes, we are still open and available for delivery. Here we are 1.5 hours later, and no pizza, no phone call, nothing. He assured me the wait time was 35-45 minutes. UPDATE the door dash guy arrived, (NOT Papa Ginos) a few minutes later, pizza was cold and no explanation given. Rest assured I'll be reaching out to both Corporate and the local Londonderry store tomorrow. At this point I could've made an actual hot pizza from scratch that would have actually been a proper temperature, and not cost $40! like $40 for a large cheese and breadsticks, get outta here. last time I go to this location. Get your act together Papa Ginos
Second update, the local chain who did the order made the situation right, still waiting to hear from corporate but I'm not gonna hold my breath. So I'm...
