I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the employee named Marcus at the Papa John's located at 9227 E. Lincoln Ave suite 400 Lonetree, CO 80124. Not only did he display poor customer service, but he also exhibited bias, discrimination, and sexism towards me as a Delivery driver. Along with the many other factors creating a hostile and unsafe environment. More often, than not, when I receive an order from this location I am waiting 20 to 30 minutes beyond the pickup time for an order, which in turn reflects poorly on delivery drivers, and creates a poor experience for the customer, which is an entirely different issue that critically needs to be addressed as they are clearly understaffed. All and all It is simply outrageous and unusual behavior for a representative of any establishment and reflects poorly on the store as a whole.
During this incident On 6/22/2025 Marcus refused to provide necessary information, such as a manager's name or owner's contact details, and canceled an order without a valid reason, simply because he did not want me to take the delivery, then proceeded to state the order was too big and couldn’t make it anyway. Which is untrue as the order only included 2 pizzas and a cheese bread. This not only affected my ability to do my job but also negatively impacted the customers who were waiting for their orders.
This incident is part of a larger pattern of unprofessional behavior from Marcus, and similar issues have been reported to the delivery plateform. His actions reflect poorly on Papa John's as a business, and I would strongly advise anyone looking for a positive experience to avoid this location until the management addresses these serious concerns.
I hope that this review serves as a warning to others who might encounter similar issues at this Papa John's location. It's crucial that businesses prioritize professionalism and ensure that all customers and partners are treated fairly and with respect.

We received an order that was not ours (Spinach pizza is not my jam). We called the store and were told to call Doordash even though we did not order through Doordash. We then called Doordash and they told us they had to call the store to talk to them about the order. We waited on hold and Doordash came back and said that the store answered and put them on hold and never came back, twice. Doordash then said that there was nothing they could do for us since they couldn't speak to anyone at the store and they would have to refund the store and then the store would have to refund us. We just wanted our order! We then had a battle for over a month with the home office who were unable to get in touch with the store to get our refund. We contacted them every other weekday for a month. A MONTH!!!! We called the store and got a hold of the GM but he was so busy making 10 pies but assured us he would issue our $41.00 refund as soon as he was done. Never happened! Then home office contacted us and said they did finally get ahold of the store and they were not willing to do anything because it was over a month. Are you freaking kidding me??? There was some yelling that occurred and we hung up and nothing elsevhas ever been done, no refund, nothing. If you don't want to waste your money and actually expect to eat when you order delivery, find somewhere else to order from because this place sucks! Read moreI did not like the customer service at this location. We had specific instructions for the driver on how to get the pizza to us because we live in an apartment complex that you can't get in without a key fob. We called the location and asked them if the driver would call us before he or she leaves and they said that wouldn't be a problem. We tracked our pizza online, and saw that the pizza had already left, so we called to clarify and see if we needed to have the driver call us. I understand that this did not happened because this is likely a request that they don't get often. We mentioned to the gentleman on the phone that we had asked that they call us before they left and we wanted to verify that they had. He said he didn't know how to help us (?) so he handed us to the manager, who was less than cordial with us. I could hear her talking loudly (not quite yelling) that the driver had already left. My boyfriend asked how does that help, all we wanted to know was what to do next now that they have already left. I thought that really shouldn't have been that big of a deal. She said in the same frustrated sounding tone of voice that they already left with our pizza and he'll call us when he gets there. Not wanting to cause further tension, we hung up.
