49rs Tavern — Restaurant in Long Beach

I love this spot. It's one of my favorite little dive bars. The music was great and I enjoyed the pool tables.

The bartender is attentive and polite. He right away took our orders for some chardonnay and offered the bottle price instead of glasses. (It was cheaper) he sat and talked with us for a few minutes before carrying on to other customers.

Right when we entered the bar the bartender right away greeted us and we took our seats wherever we liked. The place was clean and the music was on and loud but not overly loud.

The pool table was a nice addition and there were screens up for the sports games and other channels up... I enjoyed my time and recommend this spot for a little...

Currently on location here. Clean property, including the bathroom. Yes, there is an outdoor patio for smokers (as every bar should have, come on, people are drinking!) Grilled cheese = amazing Burgers (added cheddar cheese) = awesome Other reviews said the owner is the griller - if this is the same guy, he just came to our table and asked how we are doing. Thanks for putting up your banner about the best burger in town- this is why we looked you up on Google! Great service from him, and our bartender. Photographed the menu for readers' convenience. This place is down the street from my office and I always see it on the way to work in the mornings. They have a huge sign that says something along the lines of “best burgers in town,” and being a burger person, I accepted the challenge. They were not joking. The burger was not only huge, it was amazing! The burger was juicy and flavorful 🤤. My mouth is literally watering as I write this. The staff and owner were super friendly and accommodating as well. I’ll definitely be back, but as someone watching her waistline, I’m in trouble, because every bite is worth the extra work I’ll need to put in...
