This Mexican restaurant is the TRUTH dog. If I get a million plus dollars via my crypto investments this or next year I want to partner up with this small chain and expand it because it’s simply just that damn good; I got the surf and turf burrito - carne asada marinated and seasoned to perfection and shrimp was FIRE, I had got a coke from target next door with the Starbucks cup of premium ice, but I had ordered from the blue burro the blue horchata and the blue horchata milk shake, my goodness, ABSOLUTELY FIRE PREMIUM CREAMY MILK SHAKE and the blue horchata drink itself was NICE and SWEET. The only recommendation I would say about the horchata is ever since I had the horchata at this other restaurant called Tacos Gavilan is that me and my Mexican homeboy assumes Gavilan uses a little heavy cream style milk in their horchata recipe that makes the horchata heavily creamy, I would set that as a standard if I owned a Mexican food restaurant to make the horchatas taste heavily delightful, because Gavilans horchata is easily a 11/10, but that’s my take on improving the horchata though I say at blue burro their horchata is a 10/10.

Read moreI didn't want to write this, but it happens so consistently. I like to make phone orders ahead of time so it will be ready when I get there due to work time constraints. Constantly I'm told it will take 10-15 minutes. I get there in 10, check in, and they haven't even started my order. All of the customers I watched order in person AFTER me get their food, and I'm still waiting. 20 minutes later, I get my food. This just happened again and there goes my lunch break. The same thing happened last week, and they even screwed up my order after the 30 minute wait.
The worst example is the time one of the employees put me on a "brief hold" and put the phone down. Several minutes later, still "holding", I call back, line is busy. I drive to the restaurant to find their phone sitting there off the hook and two employees laughing, no customers. When I told one of them that was me they let hang there, he looked so remorseful and offered me a free drink, which I refused. Didn't wanna snitch on him to his manager, but maybe I should have because there just seems to be no priority for people with phone orders.
