Idk weird service today, will come again. But I didnât feel comfortable with customer service today at the restaurant. Waiters was acting disinterested and disorganized, Iâm usually a normal tipper but today left a dollar tip because it reflected the service. Two new waiters Iâve never seen before, gave me a hard time about the free refill of the seafood soup broth. (Not protein, just soup) been coming here 6 plus years first time Iâve heard of additional cost of soup broth. Asked if I they could give me free broth in exchange for a 5 dollar tip. Waiter looked at me puzzled. Said no. I asked for the bill, she spoke to another waiter pointed at my table, which then another waiter delivered my tab. Then when the card reader came to the tip option, I pressed a dollar. Guy coughs and said, you said youâd give my friend five dollars, or the minimum of 20%đ explained the situation. Brushes me off turns his back on me talks to the next table besides us and doesnât move when I asked him nicely I wanted to leave and him to move out the way of the booth. Latterly doesnât more for 45 seconds, I touch his back and say excuse me. Still doesnât move. I stand up and he still doesnât move.    Read morehorrible... we have been coming to this place for years on and off. we always spend money and tip well. we recently went for our anniversary dinner. I explained to our polite and friendly waiter that we were there to have a nice meal and that I was willing to spend a bit of money that night. I also explained that I love sushi and would be open to anything the chef or he would recommend trying. I was then interrupted by an older server, maybe manager, who told me i should walk to the sushi bar for special request and order it my self. I explained that I trusted our server had it covered, the guy insisted again that I order from the sushi bar, which was all the way across the restauraunt. I got up baffled as what else to do, walked across the restaurant and asked the sushi chef for help. he looked up at me surprised, and asked if I needed an order to go, I said no I'm at the table, he said why don't I order from my server. I replied, my point exactly. the manager/server stiffly walked over and huffed,... "he wants something special".    Read moreNot the greatest experience here. Fair warning, their menus do not reflect correct pricing, apparently pre-covid pricing which is over 4 years ago now. If you question your bill and point out that the right thing for a business to do is honor their pricing listed and not expect the customers to just be ok with being charged differently because the owner doesnt want to buy updated menus and servers do not provide customers with correct pricing or any verbal warning that pricing is different. I'm sure this is one of the reasons why the Better Business Bureau (BBB) was established. Oh you should have seen how personal this female worker took it, she automatically instructed my friend to not fill out anything for a tip because she "doesn't want anything from us." Down right adorable that she felt she was going to be considered for a tip. I don't tip for bare minimum attention and bitter-broad attitude, I tip for a considerate server who is friendly and attentive. To me, the food flavor/quality does not reflect the pricing.
