Gumbiner Park — Attraction in Long Beach

A very fun looking playground but not safe for my children today as there was a syringe and pill bottle on the ground. There was also a passed out homeless man in the middle of the plavground. My kids were very disappointed that we had to leave because it looked fun. Hopefully it can be taken care of.

This used to be a dangerous intersection, now it's a park. It's not just some patch of grass either, it was designed to deal with water conservation, have activities for young children and high school kids. There is space for events as well as a cool short walking path. Tons of cool features jammed into a small urban space. Def...

Not a bad part. But has a serious homeless problem. Every time I have wind or walk by the park I have seen in these three to four homeless and cabinets as well as people drinking and smoking...
