Cozy Crepes Cafe — Restaurant in Long Beach

So I would totally put 6 stars if I could. This place was super sweet! We went last night and the owner herself even came and sat with us and connected with our family. That's amazing service right there, making us feel right at home. Service was beautiful and the food was superb! I was going to order the Spinach Salad, but ended up getting the Chipotle Crepe which was very filling! The sauce was perfect in that it was not overwhelming; just enough. The chicken inside was good portion inside. And the crepe itself was nice and think. Really delightful for real! My daughters had the macaroni and chees which they make fresh in house. They each finished the whole thing! And it wasn't a small bowl either lol Then the dessert. The dessert was really yummy. We had the Delightful Crepe which had chocolate creme brule and strawberries. This one was my favorite. The other dessert we shared was the Banana Foster. It had a cinnamon crepe, I believe, ice cream and bananas. This one waa my moms favorite. I really liked it, too, but didn't have enough to really say much. Oh! And can't forget the garlic fries. We started off with this and to be honest, this could have been my favorite thing. It had garlic powder and real garlic chopped up, fresh and delicious.

To top it off, there was a young guitarist who played really smooth tunes for us. He didn't sing, just played his guitar, but it added nicely to the ambiance. Will definitely come back, bring friends...

Food was good, but the service was subpar, and prices were definitely way too much for what was given, I got Huevos Rancheros crepes and they were pretty good, but the crepes being filled with just beans and cheese was a little underwhelming, also not a lot of egg. I got iced coffee, it was delicious but I was never asked if I wanted a refill and so was kinda eating ice the whole time, also we ordered mozzarella sticks and we got them, but undercooked with cold and frozen insides, they got sent back and we got back some decent sticks. We were able to get a free set of strawberry Nutella crepes for our troubles however so that was nice, but yea, 5 people came out to almost $200. Good food, but way too pricey for what it's worth...

The owner was attentive, humble and polite. The vegetarian panini, Mediterranean crepe, onion soup and Nutella crepe were a filling size and very delicious. I would skip the 3 dollars and change hot chocolate next time, it was not rich as I would expect from a cafe. Sadly the owner came in towards the end of the visit and the waitresses were not as attentive. We were the only table not offered water, my husband's coffee size was miniscule compared to the other tables and he was not offered refills. Maybe the other tables were regulars, regardless the service should be equal throughout, as if all the customers are regulars. That's what makes every...
