Monica's Bakery — Restaurant in Long Beach

Nothing but bad customer service. We placed an order for a specific flavor filling for our order. We ended with the wrong filling. This was the second time this happens. The first time we only called to let them know their wrong doing. The second time we went back to the store with our order for them to make it right. All we got was bad attitude from the cashiers and another baker woman who came from the back to talk to us. We were given a thousand excuses to why our order was wrong. At one point this woman try to blame us for their wrong doing. We notice all of the employess just gossiping about what was happening. This is by far the worse costumer service I've have ever have. Oh my goodness... Fresh-baked Mexican pan dulce and tamales take me back to my childhood. Monica's does an amazing job to keep the daily fresh baked Goodies consistently delicious. And during tamales season, they make fresh tamales every morning starting at 5 a.m., and you can pick up a fresh dozen by 7 a.m.! You can't beat that with a baseball bat! Haha. I suggest the fresh tamales over ordering, only because when you order several dozen I've noticed some of them will be dry or not as well stuffed ... I had ordered a cake for an event, the first sat 9/10 it rained our event was in the park. I I called ahead of time, the following Saturday my newborn baby grandson was in the hospital. I called the beginning of the week, she told me to read the back of the receipt it states no refund. I asked her if I could get some pastries done I paid $65, and I don’t have money .
