State Motel — Hotel in Long Beach

I called at 9am to rent a room for 2 nights, the man stated "they had a room available but we would not be able to check in until 3pm." I agreed and waited till 3pm to head to the office for check in. When I arrived I asked to check in. The lady at the window said he was not there and I needed to wait. So I waited and randomly checked in the window but still nothing. Around 5pm he calls my cellphone and let's me know he's back. So I am finally able to check in. Upon doing so I notice the door to the room just opens without a key. Just pushed open. So I notify the man. He comes right away and is able to fix it. Then I notice after the air doesn't work so again I notify the owner but this time he says "you don't want the room come get your money". And remember by now it's already 7pm and we are staying at this hotel because our car is broke down on the same street so we can be close to it. So after all is said and done we feel we did not get our money worth. It's a beautiful hotel outside but inside the heat was so overpowering we slept...

I was pleasantly surprised. Like I said in another post 'Dont judge a book by its cover" The room was a really good size as well as the bathroom. The main issue I had was the outlets in the bathroom did not work. Also, the morning of checkout I had a lot of stuff, way more than I should but circumstances warranted it, anyway I was able to get someone to help me move it all and with a car. The owner/manager came to the door to ask about the person's car and he just went off and said he was going to report me and I wasn't supposed to have anyone in the room blah blah . Excuse me sir I've been there for 12 days and had not one visitor and now you're going to report me and say I can never use these services again just because I needed some help . If you are in California the Long Beach area make sure you get your room here very nice place very very quiet very nice room this room are amazing very private we had a two bed omg that queen size bed was life so big it was enough space the husband loved it this place is very clean from the room too the parking lot you do have a place too park you won’t be on the side of the street management is so amazing they let you in your room went you locked yourself out no problem management is very respectable they are like really family it very quiet Place if you don’t stay there trust me you won’t be bothered with any under won’t complain I am love with the landscape that they have around the complex flowers are very beautiful we will return again this place saved our life we are...
