I got sick here.

Read all the great reviews so I made a reservation for 4 of our friends to dine here. However, our experience wasn't so great.

Pros: we were seated right away quiet environment friendly server easy parking was able to make a reservation food was priced fairly Yellow curry broth was very good

Cons food took a really long time (even though there was only one other party) each of our meals arrived at vastly different times, making for an awkward dining experience and food getting cold we had to shoo gnats away from our table often bathrooms were not very clean and were so small that my knees were touching the dirty wall in front of me. table, chairs, and door handles were sticky restaurant walls were dirty with old soiled paper signage from covid still scotch taped next to the table beef was spongy and potatoes were not cooked all the way through in my Yellow curry Broccoli beef dish was very small

and the biggest issue... Immediately after dining, I got food poisoning (and so did my wife) - which is the reason I chose to write this review. So that others don't get sick as well.

I was confused by the many good reviews, but after reading a sign on the restaurant wall stating that diners get a free dish if they write a good review, it all made sense.

With just a deep clean, better food handling/preparation, and some thought put into the appearance of the restaurant, this place could have potential.

That said, I would avoid until they can meet better hygiene standards and cook the food all...

My wife stumbled upon this place on the way home from a disappointing stop earlier in the evening. We came it and it is definitely your classic old school Chinese restaurant look and feel but with some interesting wall art. Since they had beer and Alcohol we decided to give it a try. I must say the hole in the wall restaurants are some of the best. So we ordered beer the server very friendly and informative and you can tell he really cares about the food and restaurant really broke down the food and beer for us. They only had two bud lights so I asked for what he suggested next since they were limited on bud light and his suggestion for beer was great my friend had the hot curry and she loved it (make sure to go down one lower heat level just because she likes hot food and it was still a little hot for her but taste amazing) I got the Pat see ew and garlic beef and I got to say some of the best I have had in a long time and even my wife agreed . My friend got the orange chicken and ordered spicy was to die for. Super yummy and delicious evening and I will be coming back again soon it is that good. To the waiter thank you and if I was to guess you must be family because your love and passion for the place really comes through when you speak about the restaurant. Bravo...

The food is good here which is unfortunate because their customer service has been so terrible I had to stop going. I called one time an hour before closing and I had asked if it was okay to still place a phone order and they said yes!! As I’m ordering, the man rudely kept saying “sorry that’s too much food” or “no we can’t make that”! I have never in my life heard a restaurant say “that’s too much food when we were ordering only 3 things! It was obvious they didn’t want to go through the hassle of cooking 3 meals knowing they would be closing in an hour, but then why bother taking my order? So rude! The majority of the time I call to place a phone order they don’t understand what Im saying even when I speak very clearly and specifically ask for something to not be spicy and instead they make it as hot as possible. Last week I called to order, (again because I enjoyed the food) and I was hung up on twice when I started speaking and asked if I could please place a phone order for pick up. I never bothered calling back..terrible customer service! Will never return to this...

Decided to try this place out after noticing the Grand Opening banner outside. Ordered the seafood curry, pad see ew, and hit wings on our first trip. The curry was loaded up with fish, squid, and mussels. The pad see ew with beef was quite flavorful and wings were nice and crispy. The Thai tea is served up in a big mug. We made a return trip the following weekend for their grand opening special. We tried the spicy mint leaf noodles with crispy chunks of tofu and pan fried chili pork on our second trip. So far, all the dishes have been quite good, so it looks like I have found a new spot for Thai food in LB. Parking is very easy and the service is quite friendly 😋

I don’t recommend this place. Got Thai tea here. Found a roach in my drink. Went to return my order for a refund. Service was all good until i was told maybe the roach came from my apartment. Darn drink did not even reach my home as i was driving. It was all good until the man at the register was blaming me. Telling me it was a german roach and they don’t have those there. They shouldn’t have roaches at all. I could not find the health permit, public health operating permit grade, or food safety rating at the window. Eat at your own risk.

The food was alright, the employees are kind too, its a small business for sure. They do online orders and delivery from uber eats. I recommend the tom yung soups that they offer, those are worth it for the price. Others are mild, but not good for the price. Would come back again if they reduce the price. Despite the owners being friendly, the food consisted of vegetables only. Food was bland too, could use some more salt and pepper. Probably just my taste but I wouldn’t come back again. 2 stars for the tom yung soup though!
