We read all the great reviews and thought we had to try them. We were very disappointed. We ordered the big burrito, mine with pastor and my husband’s with carnitas. The ingredients were not well distributed throughout the burrito. And we are positive that all of the toppings we requested made it into the burrito. It was mostly beans and rice and then a small amount of meat at the bottom. The pastor wasn’t bad, a little dry and very fatty/grissly. But not bad. The carnitas however, was terrible. It was flavorless, dry, and mushy. (I know dry and mushy seem like they don’t go together. Sadly, they did.) I took a bite of my husband’s carnitas burrito and I had to spit it out and put something else in my mouth to replace the taste. The tortilla chips are good and crisp with the right amount of salt. And while I enjoyed the salsa that came with the chips, my husband thought all of their salsas were lacking in heat/spice. So if you like salsa that’s flavorful but not spicy, this is the place for you. I will say that the staff at the restaurant were very polite and were hustling to take care of all the orders. It was clear that they were working hard and yet they still had the time to stop and be very kind in providing great customer service. Clearly others really enjoyed this place so it could’ve just been a bad night or our tastebuds. But we won’t...

If I could give this place a higher rating, I would! Esteban is a great host. He and his crew are ALWAYS friendly, consistent, and quick. Nothing is pre-made. Nothing is sitting there getting cold. When you order your food, that's when it's prepared. The food is so delish 😋 My husband and I have become a part of this restaurant. I run a sober living transitional house and use The Boss Burrito for the end-of-the-month dinners. My residents love their food. When asked if they wanted me to cook them homemade food or choose from the The Boss Burrito, you guessed it, they chose The Boss Burrito. I usually don't like to eat at one place too long because I get burnt out. However, this place is different and special. Have eaten here twice now and both times the customer service of the staff is amazing!! From the minute you walk into the door, you are greeted with a smile, and hello, may we help you or answer questions!! I recommend trying the Flautas. Both visits have been remarkable. The flavors are great, but the texture is so soft and crispy bite after bite, making you definitely want more. The Chile Verde has so much flavor never had I had a taco with it until now, and man, so so good. Do forget to try their sauces, chipotle, habenero, and spicy red are Dynamite :) Chipotle is my favorite!!!
